Day 01 : Arrival – Negombo

Upon your arrival at Bandaranaike International Airport (BIA), our representative and your chauffeur guide will warmly welcome you. After a smooth transfer to Negombo (approximately 30 minutes’ drive), take some time to unwind.

Note: If time allows, an evening boat tour in Negombo Lagoon awaits. Otherwise, gear up for an early morning boat ride the next day.

Negombo Lagoon Boat Tour :

Experience the tranquility of a sunset boat tour on Negombo Lagoon, surrounded by serene landscapes and vibrant colors. Sail through mangrove-lined channels, observe local fishermen, and enjoy picturesque views, offering a peaceful start to your stay with a blend of relaxation and exploration.

Day 02 : Negombo - Habarana

Indulge in a leisurely breakfast at the hotel before setting out for Habarana (approximately 3½ hours’ drive). En route, immerse yourself in the cultural marvel of the Dambulla Cave Temple. Upon reaching Habarana, check in to the hotel and take a moment to unwind. Later in the afternoon, get ready for an exhilarating safari at Minneriya, where the rich wildlife promises a truly enchanting experience.

Dambulla Cave Temple :

The Dambulla Cave Temple, also called the Golden Temple of Dambulla, is a UNESCO site. It's caves carved into rocks with ancient Buddhist statues and paintings, over 2,000 years old. People visit for pilgrimage and to see the country's Buddhist history and art.

Minneriya National Park :

This park is famous for saving elephants and has important places like the Minneriya Tank. It has many different types of plants like forests, bamboo, and grasslands. You can see elephants and other rare animals on a jeep safari anytime you visit.

Day 03 : Habarana

Start your day with a delightful breakfast, then visit Polonnaruwa to explore its ancient wonders. Return to the hotel for relax before climbing Sigiriya Rock Fortress for sunset.

Polonnaruwa :

Polonnaruwa is an old city that's a UNESCO site. It used to be the second capital of the country long ago, from the 11th to 13th centuries. You can explore ancient palaces, temples, and beautiful sculptures that show how grand it was back then. It's a great place to visit if you love history and want to travel back in time.

Sigiriya Rock Fortress :

Sigiriya Rock Fortress is a big rock that's a UNESCO site. It's been around since the 5th century. You can see old palace ruins and paintings on the rock. Climbing up gives you great views, and it's impressive to see how they built it. People call it "Lion Rock" and it's an important part of country's history and culture.

Day 04 : Habarana - Kandy

Indulge in a leisurely breakfast at the hotel before embarking on a scenic journey to Kandy (approximately 3 hours’ drive). Upon reaching Kandy, check in to your hotel and take a moment to unwind. In the late afternoon, immerse yourself in the sacred ambiance of the Temple of the Tooth. Prepare to be enchanted by the vibrant Cultural Dance Show in the evening.

Temple of the Tooth Relic :

The Temple of the Tooth Relic is a UNESCO site where they keep a sacred tooth of the Buddha. People visit it a lot, especially during the Esala Perahera festival when they display the tooth.

The temple is really beautiful, important for religion, and a big part of Sri Lanka's history and culture.

Cultural Dance Show :

The show is really exciting and shows off Sri Lanka's traditions and clture. It happens in the cultural center of the island and includes traditional dances, drumming, and rituals that are part of the country's heritage. Dancers wear bright clothes and move to the music, making it exiting to watch. It's a great way to enjoy the evening.

Day 05 : Kandy - Nuwara Eliya

Savor a leisurely breakfast at your hotel as you prepare for a picturesque journey to Nuwara Eliya (approximately 3 hours’ drive), often known as the "Little England". Along the way, stops at the captivating Ramboda Waterfall and visit a tea factory to learn about Sri Lanka's renowned tea production. In the evening, unwind with a serene boat ride on Gregory Lake, adding a touch of tranquility to your day.

Ramboda Falls :

Ramboda Falls is a beautiful waterfall that many tourists visit because it's easy to get to. The water cascades down rocks, making a stunning double waterfall that's about 109 meters tall. The area around the falls is green and misty, adding to its charm. It's a must-see if you're exploring the region.

Visit to a Tea Factory :

This visit shows how tea is made. It happens in factories nestled in the green hills where they grow tea. You'll see how they pick and process the leaves to make tea. You'll learn about different steps like withering, rolling, and drying. The air smells nice, and the tea fields look pretty. After the tour, you can taste different kinds of tea. Gregory Lake Boat Ride :

Day 06 : Nuwara Eliya

Start your day with a packed breakfast and an early morning game drive in Horton Plains, searching for diverse wildlife. Hike to the iconic World's End viewpoint for breathtaking panoramic views, and then cool off at the cascading Bakers Fall. After that, unwind and rejuvenate in the breathtaking surroundings in the evening.

Horton Plains :

Horton Plains National Park is a stunning highland plateau located in the central mountains, near the town of Nuwara Eliya. It's known for its diverse ecosystems, including montane grasslands, cloud forests, and marshes. The park is home to a rich variety of endemic flora and fauna, making it a haven for nature lovers.

Day 07 : Nuwara Eliya - Ella

Begin your day with a filling breakfast at the hotel. Next, head to Nanu Oya Railway Station to catch a train to Ella, known for its scenic train route (approximately 3 hours’ ride). Once you reach Ella Railway Station, your guide will escort you to your hotel. Take this time to settle in and appreciate the tranquility of this lovely town while surrounded by stunning scenery.

Nanu Oya to Ella Train Journey :

As the train winds through the green valley, you will be captivated by sweeping views of misty mountains, and rolling tea plantations. This iconic journey promises an unforgettable tapestry of natural beauty, making every moment aboard the train a picture-perfect memory.

Day 08 : Ella

Start your day with a nice breakfast at the hotel in Ella. Take your time to explore the area and enjoy the beautiful sights and activities. You can go at your own pace and make special memories that you'll remember even after you leave.

Admire the views of Ella Gap from Little Adam’s Peak :

Little Adam’s Peak, in close resemblance to the main Adam’s Peak is one of the popular attractions of Ella. Giving hiking and trekking an adventure to cherish, for it yields beautiful views of tea plantations, and misty mountains ending with spectacular sunrises.

Admire the rushing Ravana Falls :

This marvelous waterfall is one of the top attractions to see in the quaint town of Ella. It is worth the visit with fantastic views that look out to the surrounding valleys and mountains.Adore the famous Nine Arch Bridge

This is the most iconic structure in Ella. The Nine Arches Bridge, fondly referred to as the Bridge in the Sky, is a viaduct bridge that was constructed in 1921 and is the perfect example of colonial infrastructure.

Zip-lining :

The two-wire zip-line stretches for more than half a kilometer, slides at 80kmph, and offers a bird’s-eye view of the beautiful hills of the island. It is exclusively designed for adventure enthusiasts and adrenaline junkies who prefer a not-so-ordinary hillside experience.

Day 09 : Ella - Yala

Enjoy a relaxed breakfast at the hotel to start your day. Then, embark on a scenic drive to Yala (approximately 3 hours’ drive), where you'll see different landscapes along the way. In the late afternoon, get ready for an exciting safari in Yala National Park, famous for spotting leopards. It's a chance to see these amazing animals in their natural home, making it a thrilling wildlife experience.

Yala National Park :

During the safari in Yala National Park, your vehicle will drive through different areas like grasslands and forests. You can see lots of animals like elephants, deer, and many kinds of birds. The most exciting part is the chance to see a leopard, which is the park's most famous animal. Visiting Yala promises an exciting wildlife adventure and a chance to experience country's wild beauty up close.

Day 10 : Yala - Mirissa

After a relaxed breakfast, get ready to travel to Mirissa (approximately 2 ½ hours’ drive). Along the way, enjoy the beautiful views of country's coast. You'll see the famous stilt fishermen and visit Coconut Tree Hill, a peaceful spot. When you arrive in Mirissa, check in to your hotel and take some time to relax by the sea or at the pool.

Stilt Fishermen :

Stilt fishermen have a special way of fishing. They stand on tall wooden stilts in the water and wait for fish to bite. This tradition has been passed down for generations and shows how important fishing is in Sri Lankan culture. It's a beautiful sight to see these fishermen balancing above the waves, blending with the sea and the coastal scenery.

The Coconut Tree Hill :
