OVERVIEW

This journey begins with your arrival in Sri Lanka, where you'll visit the Pinnawala Elephant Orphanage, an unforgettable experience among these majestic creatures. Continuing to Habarana, you'll explore the iconic Sigiriya Rock Fortress, known as the 8th wonder of the world, and have the option to witness the wildlife spectacle at Minneriya National Park. The adventure moves on to the Dambulla Cave Temple, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, before heading to Kandy, where you'll discover the revered Temple of the Tooth and the lush Royal Botanical Gardens.

Afterward, a scenic train ride takes you to Nuwara Eliya, the "Little England" of Sri Lanka, where you'll enjoy a city tour and visit tea plantations and botanical gardens. The trip concludes in Colombo, Sri Lanka’s vibrant capital, with visits to cultural landmarks and an exploration of its diverse, cosmopolitan atmosphere before your departure.

DAY 1 : AIRPORT – PINNAWALA – HABARANA (- / - / D)

On arrival, you will be introduced to your chauffeur guide and then begin your journey to uncover the wonders of this island.

Arrive on at hrs and transfer to Sigiriya. Visit Pinnawala Elephant Orphanage (Depends on Arrival Flight time).

Pinnawala Elephant Orphanage, located 13 km northwest of Kegalle towards Kandy, is famous because of the elephant orphanage located in the area. It is a must-visit as it would definitely add an unforgettable experience to your stay in this paradise isle. (Bathing times 10:00hrs – 12:00 hrs & 14:00 -16:00 hrs ).

DAY 2 : HABARANA – SIGIRIYA – MINNERIYA – HABARANA (B / - / D)

After breakfast, Leave for Sigiriya Rock Fortress.

Sigiriya Rock Fortress, an 8th wonder of the world is a rare jewel among the many treasures in Sri Lanka. The famous Sigiriya frescoes of the buxom, wasp-waisted maidens bearing flowers, amidst the wilderness and ancient ruins.

Optional : Minneriya National Park

Minneriya National Park, shelters some of the greatest wildlife treasures of this paradise. The ‘Sixth Greatest Wildlife Spectacle of the World’ – the amazing phenomenon of the ‘Minneriya Elephant gathering’ that occurs during August – September.

Optional : Village tour in Habarana

Habarana, a village in the backwoods of the dry zone, is the heart of the cultural triangle. It provides visitors the convenience of reaching all the historically significant sites with ease as well as some of the major wildlife sanctuaries in the country.

Return to Hotel, Dinner & Overnight at Habarana.

DAY 3 : HABARANA – DAMBULLA – KANDY (B / - / D)

After breakfast, Check-out from Hotel and Leave for Kandy En Route Dambulla.

Dambulla Cave temple, a complex that lies atop a massive hill on the edge of the town is one of the eight UNESCO world heritage sites in the country and is renowned for its unique sculptures and the largest mural paintings.

Spice Gardens, located in Matale offer wonderful opportunities to view the spices that stirred the interests of many nations, since time immemorial, in this emerald isle for its exotic spices, world over.

Kandy, referred as the hill capital, Sri Dalada Maligawa that houses the sacred tooth relic of Buddha remains the prime landmark. Apart from the ancient monuments, the delightful jumble of antique shops and the bustling market are places to visit.

Transfer to Hotel & Check-in, Dinner & Overnight at Kandy.

DAY 4 : KANDY (B / - / D)

After breakfast, Walk through the Royal Botanical Gardens in Peradeniya.

Peradeniya Botanical Gardens, although its origins date back to the era of medieval times, bears a rich history punctuated by colonialism and industrial change. The splendour of the gardens, further uplifted by the river that flows through its fringes.

Kandy City Tour :

In the evening visit The Temple of the Tooth, Temple of the tooth relic of Lord Buddha, is the pride of Buddhists in Sri Lanka and world-over. The palace temple stands surrounded by a moat, its golden roof gleaming in the sunlight as white-clad pilgrims bearing lotus blossoms throng to worship.

Return to Hotel, Dinner & Overnight at Kandy

DAY 5 : KANDY – NUWARA ELIYA (B / - / D)

After an early breakfast, Leave for Nuwara Eliya Via Train.
Enjoy Scenic Train ride from Kandy to Nuwara Eliya.

Nuwara Eliya City Tour :

Nuwara Eliya, dubbed the ‘Little England of Sri Lanka’ is located in the thick, misty hills of this paradise isle. The colonial atmosphere remains preserved, resembles a British countryside complete with rose gardens, hedges and red-roofed bungalows.

Visit Hakgala Botanical Garden, Tea Plantation and Gregory Lake.

DAY 6 : NUWARA ELIYA – COLOMBO (B / - / D)

After breakfast, Check-out from Hotel and Leave for Colombo.

Colombo, is Sri Lanka’s commercial capital and major port. A fine amalgamation of all the hues and cultures within this paradise isle. This chic metropolitan brings together the many facets of this island nation.

City tour to visit the Gangarama Temple, Seemamalakaya, Nelum Pokuna Theatre, BMICH and Galle Face green.
