Guide de voyage Paris

Located in the Île-de-France region, in the north-central part of the Hexagon, Paris is a city to see at least once in a lifetime. Visitors never have time to get bored in this lively and picturesque city that wonderfully blends the riches of its glorious past with modern trends and innovations. Abundant in architectural styles, culture, and gastronomy, it is a reference and a dream place for many artists, scientists, athletes, or other lovers of the French-style "good taste".

There is absolutely no reason NOT to go to Paris, as the French metropolis has everything to please. People go there for its rich history and majestic remains, for the variety of cultural events, for its meticulous urban planning, for its (haute) cuisine… People also go because Paris is the "Queen" of fashion and luxury, the emblematic place for shopping and a destination appreciated by celebrities from all over the world.
Each season has its charm, however many tourists choose the pleasant period between May and September to plan their getaway to Paris. Outside the summer season, the colors of fallen leaves invite long walks in autumn. The climate remains relatively mild in winter and spring is ideal for romantic discoveries.
Paris, a welcoming, artistic, rich, and multicultural city, has nearly 4 million inhabitants and represents the economic, cultural, and political center of France. Each of its 20 districts reveals a different face to curious visitors. Crossed by the Seine, the city also offers beautiful out-of-town excursions. The French capital is therefore a perfect destination to experience the charms of French life and discover the treasures of French cultural heritage.
