OVERVIEW

Soak up the breath-taking natural beauty of Komodo National Park and sit back and relax as the boat takes us from one stunning location to another on this island-hopping adventure. On Kelor Island, we have plenty of time to relax on the powdery white sands and swim in the clear turquoise waters. Trekking on Rinca Island offers the chance to stand in awe of the magnificent Komodo dragons, and at Loh Liang we can lap up the magnificent views while trekking.

Incredible Pink Sand Beach serves up a great opportunity for swimming and snorkelling and we can take a refreshing dip in the pools the impressive Cunca Rami Waterfalls cascade into. More of the area’s natural phenomenon is unveiled with a visit to Batu Cermin, also known as the Mirror Stone Cave and as we cruise on the boat we enjoy beautiful scenery and a sublime sunrise (subject to weather conditions).

Day 1 : Arrival Labuan Bajo – Sebayur – Manta Point – Padar Island (- / L / D)

Set off an island-hopping adventure and discover the tropical island paradises that dot this stretch of sea and the wealth of marine life that call the inviting waters home. Upon arrival at Komodo Airport in Labuan Bajo on Western Flores, we meet with our guide and drive to the pier to board our boat.

We then cruise to Sebayur Island, a stunning spot that is famed for its snorkelling and dive sites. After exploring the colourful underwater world, we cruise to Manta Point, while tucking into a tasty lunch on board.

We dive into the waters once again to spot the manta rays, before continuing to Siaba Island, another pristine dive spot nestled in the north of the Komodo National Park.

We dock at the island for dinner and a relaxing overnight stay on board.

Day 2 : Padar Island – Pengah Island – Rinca Island – Kalong Island  (B / L / D)

Today serves up more sumptuous tropical islands, underwater snorkelling adventures and viewing the mighty Komodo dragon. After breakfast, we cruise from Padar to Pengah Island where we enjoy snorkelling, or swimming.

Lunch will be provided on the boat as we cruise to Komodo Island, walking through the typical dry forest to explore the Island of Komodo dragon. You might see other wild animals such as deer, wild buffalo, long-tailed macaque and wild boar also numerous of birds (subject to the weather and condition). Keep your eyes up as sometime you will find the young Komodo dragons on the trees.  A local ranger will lead you through this nature reserve.

Keep your eyes peeled as sometimes it is possible to spot young Komodo dragons in the trees. In the late afternoon, we head to Kalong Island in time to see thousands of bats flying from their nests on a feeding frenzy.

Dinner is on board the boat.

Day 3 : Kalong Island – Menjerite / Kelor Island – Labuan Bajo (B / L / -)

After a leisurely breakfast on the boat, we set off on today’s cruise to Menjerite, or Kelor islands to delve into the rich sea life during a snorkelling session.

If time permits, we will then head out on a gentle 30-minute trek through the island’s interior to marvel at the breath-taking views. We then re-board the boat and enjoy a delicious lunch as we make our way back to Labuan Bajo.

Lunched will be served on board & dinner at your own arrangement

We will be met at the pier and driven directly to hotel for our overnight stay.

Overnight in Labuan Bajo

Day 4 : Labuan Bajo – Cunca Wulang Waterfall – Labuan Bajo (B / L / -)

Get a glimpse into village life, enjoy a gentle trek to refresh at some waterfalls, before spending the afternoon exploring Labuan Bajo at our own pace.

Today, you will explore the canyon waterfall “Cunca Wulang”. You will be picked up by your tour guide and then drive up to Warsawe village to visit the Cunca Wulang Waterfall. The waterfall is located at an altitude of 200 meters above sea level making the atmosphere of this place cool.

At first glance, you will feel that you are in the “Grand Canyon” when arriving at this place because there is a river flow between the cliffs of large rocks. The waterfall is above the rocks and the waters come out through the gaps in the rocks. Here, you can swim or just relax enjoying the beauty of the waterfall as you like.

We will then return to Labuan Bajo, with the afternoon at leisure to relax at the hotel, or spend some time exploring the quaint village. Coined the ‘city of sunsets’ we recommend finding yourself a spot ahead of dusk to watch the sky turn into a palette of rich colours.

Overnight in Labuan Bajo

Day 5 : Labuan Bajo – Departure (B / - / D)

Rise early and watch the island spring to life ahead of a cave exploration. After breakfast at the hotel, we will meet out guide and drive to the local fish market. Here, we can watch the local produce being sold from the colourful collection of stalls in a hive of activity. Discover the fish market where we can get a glimpse into local life as catches of the day are snapped up by villagers.

Our next stop is Batu Cermin Cave. Also known as the Mirror Stone Cave, this intriguing site comprises a tunnel nestled in a rock hill in West Manggarai. The cave earned its name from the walls that glisten in the morning sun from light piercing through a crevice in the roof.

(During the closure of Batu Cermin Cave, we switch the program for a short hiking to Bukit Sylvia or the stunning hill to witness the sun down (upon weather and time permit) and to have enjoy the beautiful view to the spices island.

We will then drive to the airport for our onward flight full of unforgettable memories of our Indonesian adventure.

We have met a wealth of wildlife, including the star of Komodo National Park, the Komodo dragon; cruised to a collection of pristine tropical islands; marvelled at natural phenomenon, including caves, beaches and stunning views; feasted on fine food; and been treated to the warm hospitality of locals we have met along the way.
