DAY 02 : FRIDAY CANCUN – CHICHEN ITZA – MERIDA

Departure to Chichén-Itzá, in this place, declared a World Heritage Site by UNESCO, you will be transported to pre-Hispanic times. You will visit among other buildings The Pyramid of Kukulkan is one of the most iconic examples of Maya architecture of all time. Each year, during the spring and autumn equinoxes, the famous feathered serpent slides down the steps of the temple showcasing the precise coordination with which the Maya were able to harmonize nature and their surroundings.

DAY 03 : SATURDAY TRANSFER AIRPORT MERIDA / GUATEMALA CITY

Departure transfer to the airport of the City of Mérida to take the flight to Guatemala.
Arrival in Guatemala City and orientation tour of the City with a mixture of modern and panoramic colonial style, continuation to the selected hotel.

DAY 04 : SUNDAY GUATEMALA – CHICHICASTENANGO – LAGO ATITLAN

Departure from your hotel to the Guatemalan highlands along the Pan-American Highway to Chichicastenango, where an indigenous Quiche town lives surrounded by hills and mountains that jealously guard traditions, who fuse their pre-Hispanic and Catholic rituals in the 400-year-old church of Santo Tomás, built on the remains of a Mayan temple. This market is active on Thursdays and Sundays, the smoke of the incense that impregnates the atmosphere of mysticism and religiosity acquires great significance. People barter in this market full of color, tradition and folklore. At the indicated time, transfer to Panajachel, a town located on the shores of Lake Atitlán. Considered one of the most beautiful lakes in the world, surrounded by three volcanoes Atitlán, Tolimán and San Pedro that protect the lake.
At the end of the tour, you will be transferred to the Hotel for accommodation.

DAY 05 : MONDAY ATITLÁN LAKE – SAN JUAN LA LAGUNA-SANTIAGO ATITLAN – ATITLAN LAKE

You will enjoy a morning boat trip in Santiago Atitlán and we will visit two towns out of the twelve that surround this beautiful lake. We will get to know the Tzutuhil of San Juan La Laguna, characterized by the harmony in which its inhabitants coexist with nature and culture. We will continue to Santiago Atitlán, a town inhabited by indigenous Tzutuhiles who live from fishing and crafts, although they are better known because they are worshipers. of a Mayan-Catholic deity they call Maximón

DAY 06 : TUESDAY LAGO ATITLAN – IXIMCHÉ – LA ANTIGUA

Departure from your hotel to visit Antigua. On the way we will visit the archaeological site of Iximche, the ancient Mayan capital of the Cakchiquel kingdom. Upon our arrival in Antigua, an orientation visit to this colonial city declared Cultural Heritage of Humanity during and considered one of the most beautiful colonial cities in America, the colonial era was the capital of the Kingdom of Guatemala. The Cathedral, the La Merced church, the central square and its main streets and monuments conform.

DAY 08 : THURSDAY MERIDA – UXMAL – KABAH & SAYIL – MERIDA

Located to the southwest of Mérida, there is an area of hills called Ruta Puuc where the archaeological zone of Uxmal emerges spectacularly, declared a World Heritage Site by UNESCO. It is one of the archaeological zones of the Mayan culture whose architecture is one of the most majestic in Yucatan. Within the Puuc route we will also discover Kabah & Sayil.
