OVERVIEW
The adventure begins with a visit to Jordan's Desert Castles, exploring the fortress-like Qasr el-Kharaneh, the bathhouse of Qasr Amra, and the impressive Azraq Castle. Then takes you to historical sites like the ruins of Al Mushattah Palace and the Umayyad palace of Qasr Al Qastal, followed by a visit to the Ottoman-built Qatrana Castle. You'll then head south to explore the Crusader castles of Karak and Shobak. In Petra, you’ll explore the ancient city carved from rock, passing through the iconic Siq to reach the famous Treasury.
Day 1 : Q.A.I Airport – Amman
Arrive at Queen Alia Int'l. Meet, Assist & then transfer to your hotel in Amman.
Dinner & Overnight in Amman
Day 2 : Amman – Desert Castles (Kharranah, Amra, Azraq) – Amman
After breakfast, drive east of Amman towards the Desert Castles. Visit the fortress -like Qasr elKharaneh & the charming bathhouse complex of Qasr Amra. Then, co ntinue to visit the marvelous castle of Azraq. Return back to Amman.
Dinner & Overnight in Amman
Day 3 : Amman – Al Mushattah – Al Qastal – Qatranah – Karak – Shobak – Petra
After breakfast, transfer to Al Mushattah Palace which is the ruin of an Umayyad winter palace probably commissioned by caliph Al-Walid II (743-744). The ruins are part of a string of castles, palaces and caravanserai known collectively in Jordan as the Desert Castles. Continue to Qasr Al Qastal which was an Umayyad palace.
The building was approximately 68 meters square. The outer wall of the palace had 12 semi -circular towers at intervals between four large corner towers. Proceed to Qatrana Castle which was built in 1531 by the Ottomans.
Then, transfer southwards to visit the imposing Crusader castle of Karak. Continue to Shobak castle that was known for the Crusaders as Mont Real (Crak de Montreal) or Mons Regalis, the Fortress of the Royal Mount. It was built in 1115 by King Baldwin I of Jerusalem to guard the road from Damascus to Egypt. Proceed to your hotel in Petra.

Day 4 : Petra Visit – Amman
After breakfast, visit the Red Rose city of Petra, which was carved out of the solid Rock before about 2000 years ago by the Arab Nabateans. Start the tour on foot pass by the fascinating narrow gorge (the Siq), which is about one kilometer long and eighty meters high. Once of a sudden you will be facing Petra’s most famous monument the Treasury (el -Khazneh). Free time for exploring the site. Continue to Amman.

Day 5 : Amman – Q.A.I airport for departure
After breakfast, transfer to Queen Alia Int'l airport for departure.
