OVERVIEW
You’ll explore the Citadel, the Archaeological Museum, and the Roman Theatre, and stroll through the bustling Souqs of downtown Amman. The next day, you'll embark on a visit to Petra, the stunning ancient city carved from rock by the Nabateans, exploring its famous Siq and the Treasury. The following day, you’ll visit Madaba to see its renowned Byzantine mosaics and continue to Mount Nebo, a historic and spiritual site believed to be where Moses viewed the Promised Land. The day concludes with a visit to the Dead Sea, where you can float in its mineral-rich waters before returning to Amman.
Day 1 : Queen Alia Airport – Amman City Tour – Amman
Arrive at Amman Queen Alia International Airport. Meet and assist by our representative.
Drive to Amman for a city tour to visit the Citadel, Archaeological Museum, Roman Theatre, walk in the Souqe (shops) at down Town for shopping, then continue to the hotel
Overnight in Amman.
Day 2 : Amman – Petra Visit – Amman
After breakfast Drive to visit the Red Rose city of Petra, which was carved out of the solid Rock before about 2000 years ago by the Arab Nabateans. Start the tour on foot passing by the fascinating narrow gorge (the Siq), which is about one kilometre long and eighty meters high. Once of a sudden you will be facing Petra’s most famous monument the Treasury (El -Khazneh). Free time to explore the site , then back to Amman
Overnight in Amman.
Day 3 : Amman – Madaba – Mount Nebo – Dead Sea – Amman
After breakfast, drive to Madaba, home of the most famous Byzantine mosaics. Visit the greatest and most significant of all the city’s treasures, the wonderful mosaic map of ancient Palestine, which is located on the floor of the Greek Orthodox Church of St. George. Proceed to Mount Nebo, which dates back to the time of the Prophet Moses, around the 12th century BC. It is believed to be the site of the Prophet’s burial place and the p oint from where he viewed the “Promised Land”.
Visit the remains of the mosaic floors with stunning designs that feature hunting and pastoral scenes, found in the small church, built by the early Christians in the 4th century AD. Continue to the Dead Sea ( the lowest point on the earth) to enjoy swimming and floating on its salty water. Back to Amman
Overnight in Amman.
Day 4 : Amman - Queen Alia Airport (Departure)
After breakfast, Transfer to Queen Alia international airport for final departure back home.
