OVERVIEW
You set off towards Bandung, stopping to explore the cultural richness of Taman Mini Indonesia Indah and the lush Bogor Botanical Gardens. In Bandung, a scenic drive through strawberry fields and tea plantations leads to the tranquil beauty of Situ Patenggang Lake and the Kawah Putih crater. You’ll then experience the vibrant local arts with a traditional puppet show and bamboo orchestra performance. In Yogyakarta, you delve into the city’s historical heart, visiting the Sultan's Palace, creating your own batik, and witnessing a stunning sunset at Borobudur Temple.
A train journey to Mount Bromo follows, where you’ll witness a breathtaking sunrise over the caldera. You then travel through picturesque landscapes to Jember, visiting local markets and spice plantations along the way. The adventure peaks with an ascent of Mount Ijen, known for its mesmerizing sulfur lake and blue flames, before crossing the Bali Strait by ferry, marking the end of a captivating exploration of Java’s natural and cultural wonders.

Arrival at Jakarta international airport.
Meet and greet at the airport, followed by transfer to your hotel.

DAY 2 : JAKARTA - BANDUNG (B / - / -)
Moving towards Bandung with a visit of Taman Mini Indonesia Indah on the way. This extensive Indonesia Miniatur Park shows the diverseness of the indonesian archipelago. Then head to Bogor with its famous botanical garden, and thousands of species of plants from all over the world.
Continue to Bandung, passing the beautiful scenery of tea plantations and scenic tropical beauty at mountainous region.

DAY 3 : BANDUNG (B / - / -)
The journey starts with an early morning drive to Ciwidey, uphill through strawberry fields until Situ Patenggang, a lake with beautiful tranquil and serene atmosphere. The ambience becomes dramatic when mist rolls down from the hills and covers the lake, creating a magical scenery.
Then continue to visit Kawah Putih, a crater containing snow white shallow water from a spring. Pass rolling hills and tea plantations on the way back to the city.
In the afternoon, visit the unique traditional wooden doll puppet theatre, known as ‘wayang golek’ and the ‘angklung’ bamboo orchestra, as well as the classical sundanese gamelan and dances.

DAY 4 : BANDUNG - YOGYAKARTA (B / - / -)
Discover the old city of Bandung, exploring the area of Braga and Asia-Africa.
In the afternoon, transfer to the airport, depart to Yogyakarta by flight.
Upon arrival at Yogyakarta, transfer to your hotel.
Overnight in YOGYAKARTA
DAY 5 : YOGYAKARTA (B / - / -)
Experience the warm hospitality of the city! Start the tour by becak and visit the old city and its special places such as Kraton (Sultan's Palace) and Water Castle.
Afterwards create your own batik, guided by a local craftsman, while visiting a workshop.
In the afternoon excursion to Borobudur Temple, one of the biggest buddhist shrines in the world and heritage of humanity. End this exciting day with a sunset at Borobodur.
Overnight in YOGYAKARTA
DAY 6 : YOGYAKARTA - SOLO (B / - / -)
First visit Prambanan Temple, Java’s most interesting hindu shrine, regarded as one of the most beautiful hindu temples in the world. The temple represents the hindu trinity of Brahma, Vishnu and Shiva, with a bas-relief depicting the famous Ramayana story.
Afterwards continue to Solo with a visit of Royal Mangkunegaran, a palace which blends european elegance with javanese architecture.

DAY 7 : SOLO - MOJOKERTO (BY TRAIN) - BROMO (B / - / -)
Leaving Solo by train to Mojokerto. Upon arrival, continue the journey by car along the east side through Java’s heartland, passing endless teak forests and lush countryside until you arrive to Mount Bromo.

DAY 8 : BROMO - JEMBER (B / - / -)
At 3.00 am depart by jeep to Mount Penanjakan on the rim of Tengger Caldera, to view one of the most spectacular sunrises. Admire the magnificent panorama over the caldera from 2,700 m.
Afterwards cross the sea of sand and reach the peak of Mount Bromo by horseback. Return to your hotel. Then take the scenic route to Jember, with breathtaking views over mountains and through the delightful villages.

DAY 9 : JEMBER - IJEN (B / - / -)
In the morning visit Tanjung traditional market, where local people buy and sell their products. Then continue to Kalibaru Land, producing tropical spices. Take part in a plantation walking tour and learn about coffee, cocoa, cloves, vanilla, pepper, nutmeg, cinnamon & chili. You will also see the traditional way of producing palm sugar/brown sugar.
In the afternoon continue your journey to Banyuwangi.
Overnight in BANYUWANGI
DAY 10 : IJEN - KETAPANG (B / - / -)
Early departure to Java’s wonder volcano Mt Ijen, known for its electric-blue flames which come from burning sulphur at night: Pass rural villages, coffee and clove plantations into one of java’s rainforest. Humidity, wildlife, giant ferns and big trees cover the slope of the mountain.
From rangers’ post, walk up to the Ijen Plateau, through hilly landscape to the crater edge. The stunning view is unveiled at 2388 m altitude. When having clear weather, you may see the great sulfur lake.
After enjoying the lake and the activities of local sulphur mining, back down to the ranger’s post, before driving back to the hotel.
In the afternoon, transfer to the port of Ketapang, then board the ferry to Gili Manuk to crossi the Bali Strait.
