OVERVIEW
The journey offers a blend of relaxation, culture, and exploration, starting with a rejuvenating spa session and a visit to the stunning Uluwatu Temple, followed by the captivating Kechak dance performance. You will then immerse yourself in Balinese village life at Puri Taman Sari, experiencing local cooking and traditional offering-making. The journey continues with visits to iconic temples such as Taman Ayun and Tanah Lot, along with cultural workshops like learning the Gamelan music.
Throughout the trip, you'll enjoy soft trekking through rice terraces, exploration of waterfalls, and fascinating cultural stops such as the Elephant Safari Park and traditional purification ceremonies. The tour includes visits to villages, art centers, and beautiful natural landscapes, concluding with time at Candidasa and Sanur before your departure.
Day 1 : Arrive Bali
Upon arrival at Bali's airport in Denpasar, then direct transfer in to Puri Santrian Resort, Rest of the day free at leisure.
Day 2 : Spa & Uluwatu Tour – Puri Tamansari (B)
Morning after breakfast at the hotel is free. This morning you will have some free time to enjoy the local beaches, visit the local shops or even just hang around your hotel.
*PLEASE NOTE: With the local vendors and even some of the local shops you CAN and SHOULD bargain. Depending on what the items are you should come in about 1/2-1/5 of what their original asking price is.
This afternoon at 1.00PM, check out the hotel and enjoy two hours SPA package at local Spa Company, in the evening we will take you to the Uluwatu Temple, which is an architectural marvel situated on the edge of a steep 300 foot rock facing the ocean. This temple has some of the most exquisite architecture in Bali and was first built in the eleventh century. There are numerous monkeys on the walkway to the temple, who are delighted to receive food from you.
You shouldn’t have anything loose on your clothing or body, such as earrings, pens and glass-cases and you should hold your camera bags tightly. These mischievous monkeys will quickly snatch them and will only give them back for a ransom (typically peanuts and bananas). Then you will proceed to the temple. This is a small and simple temple, but it is a good introduction to the style and function of the Hindu temples on Bali. Afterwards you can enjoy the sunset while watching the performance of Kechak Dance, which presents the Mahayana story with actors-dancers, beautiful costumes and accompanied totally by the Kechak dancers-singers (no gamelan orchestra).
After the dance then transfer to Puri Taman Sari, about an hour's drive from Kuta area, where you will immediately escape other tourists and find yourself in the midst of village life. Puri Taman Sari is situated in a tranquil corner of Umabian Village in Tabanan, surrounded by beautiful, lush rice paddies and close to the local community. Part of Puri Taman Sari is a Balinese compound, demonstrating the traditional Balinese homestead model. This property is owned by one of Mengwi Royal family,and some family members live here so there may be a chance to interact during your stay. The remainder of the day will be free for your own leisure.

Day 3 : Umabian – Cooking Class - Offering lesson (B.L.D)
Today will be filled with a wonderful introduction to Balinese culture. After breakfast, enjoy a cooking workshop led by Puri Taman Sari chef. Start by biking for about one hour to the nearby local market to witness the daily commerce of the village and have the experience of shopping for ingredients. If time allows, the outing may also include a visit to a village elementary school before heading back to Taman Sari to roll up your sleeves in the kitchen. The workshop will be hands-on, and you will enjoy all of the recipes you prepare as your lunch menu.
After lunch, then learn how to make traditional canang sari, or offerings, small baskets of rice and flowers offered as gifts to the spirits.

Day 4 : Umabian - GAMELAN WORKSHOP - Belimbing (B.L)
After breakfast, depart by vehicle for Belimbing village at the Western end of the island. On the way, visit to Royal family Temple Taman Ayun at Mengwi, and Tanah Lot Sea Temple, one of the most splendid temples in Bali. Perched atop an enormous rock, it is completely surrounded by the Indian Ocean during high tide, Lunch at Local Restaurant.
After lunch, the drive to the small village the cultural experience continues with your introduction to the Gamelan, or Indonesian musical ensemble. Try your hand at one or more of the traditional instruments, which may include xylophone, drums, gongs, and bamboo flutes. Then continues further westward via Antosari with fine views of terraced rice fields and lush clove and coffee plantations.

Day 5 : Belimbing – Soft Trekking – Munduk (B.L.D)
Early morning fill your body, mind & spirit on your own Yoga & meditation at powerful area of the Belimbing Villas, then after breakfast start to explore the real daily life of the Balinese through experience walk on the rice-fields and feel the strong energy of the Dewi Sri Gods as the Gods of the prosperity as well as see some kinds of plants which maybe used either as cooking ingredients or for herbal medicines, and watch the beautiful trees like Mangosteen, Clove, Nutmeg, Salak, Durian, Cacao and many other tropical trees you may have never seen before. See the authentic Bali as the Bali village and people like 30 years ago and enjoy the superb rice terraces and they are probably the most magnificent rice terraces on the island and the sloping of Mount Batukaru backs them up. Back to the villas to enjoy the pool and Jacuzzi. Lunch provided at the villas.
After lunch drive to Munduk through Pupuan and Mayong, providing beautiful views of rice terraces. Stop at the village of Munduk to see Dutch colonial houses that serve as a reminder of past times. Then arrive in Munduk, and enjoy the rest of the day at your own leisure. Munduk is in the highlands about 3,300 feet above sea level, so nighttime temperatures can be quite cool. The surrounding view from Puri Lumbung is wonderful, with lush clove plantations and Balis central mountain range.

Day 6 : Munduk – Ubud (B.L)
This morning enjoy an interesting two-hour walk through the jungle to a waterfall. Along the way see majestic ferns, coffee, cacao, clove and many more native plants you might have heard of but never seen before. Your walk runs along a small, crystal-clear river leading to the 131-foot Munduk Waterfall. Return to your hotel, here you will check out and leave for Ubud, the island center of the arts. Drive via Asah Panji, which affords a unning view of Buyan and Tamblingan Lakes (the Twin Lakes).
Next, travel to Bedugul for a visit to the magnificent floating” Ulun Danu Temple on Lake Beratan. If time allows, enjoy a short visit to the Candi Kuning Market, which sells wonderful fresh fruits, vegetables, and flowers. Lunch will be a buffet at a local restaurant . Arrive in Ubud in time to venture out for the evening, and perhaps dine in one of the restaurants near your hotel .

Day 7 : Ubud - Elephant Ride Tour at Taro – Temple Purification (B.L)
Morning Yoga Practicing at the hotel. Drive to Taro Village to the Elephant Safari Park – here is the, “World's Best Elephant Park”, facilities include a full Reception and Information Centre, a comprehensive Museum, with a large collection of elephant memorabilia and the only Mammoth Skeleton in South East Asia. A visit to the Elephant Safari Park is a must for any visitor to Bali.
Get up close and personal with these incredible animals in a beautiful tropical park setting. Elephants can be seen immersing themselves in the park lake, in between riding, painting or other activities. Hand feed them, touch them, take photos with them, then learn more about the elephants ancestry and diversity at the Park's historical and graphic displays. INCLUDES: Elephant safari ride & Lunch. After lunch then drive back to the hotel.
In the late afternoon Dress your Balinese traditional costume and bring towel and extra clothes as this afternoon we will take you for the personal purification at the Holy Spring Temple – Tampaksiring. The Temple priest will preparing their chanting the sacred mantras related to the purification – then you will launch to the sacred pool with its holy water.
After this ritual tour then drive back to the hotel.

Day 8 : Ubud –Barong Dance – Art Tour - Candidasa (B)
Morning Yoga practicing at the hotel, then breakfast at the hotel, Check out the hotel, then drive you to Batubulan Village to see the famous Barong & Kris Dance, then continue to the mask maker to have some experience in making wood-mask and get to know the characters and spirit of the mask which is use for ritual dance in Bali, followed by seeing the sample mask maker performing his talent. Then visit to the art & handy craft centre of wood carving and art paintings.
And then Continuing onto Candidasa beach through Sidemen, Selat, and Putung where on the way you can enjoy the most beautiful scenery of rice-terraces and salak fruits plantation.
Check in at Ramayana Candidasa Hotel in Candidasa Beach for overnight.
Day 9 : Candidasa – Sanur (B)
Breakfast at the hotel, enjoy your time to see around the hotel or beach, in the afternoon after lunch time, then the guide will pick you up and transfer you to Sanur for check in at Puri Santrian Resort.
On the way some stops will be made to see Tenganan Village, and Bat Cave Temple at Goa Lawah.
Day 10 : Sanur - Airport (B)
After breakfast, free time on your own , then transfer to the airport for your onward flight.
Meals: Breakfast.
