Day 1 : Bariloche (- / - / -)

Upon arrival, our staff will be waiting for you at the airport to transfer you to the selected hotel.

Day 2 : Bariloche (B / - / -)

Breakfast at the hotel.

Short Circuit Excursion :

The trip starts from Bariloche along Bustillo Avenue. The road is paved, winding and borders Lake Nahuel Huapi. At the height of Km. 8 is Playa Bonita, where Huemul Island can be appreciated. Ten kilometers ahead and after crossing different landscapes, you arrive at the foot of Campanario Hill. In this place there is a chairlift that takes the traveler to the summit (1,050mts.), from where one of the most beautiful and fascinating views of the region can be appreciated. You can observe the Nahuel Huapi and Perito Moreno Lakes, San Pedro and Llao Llao peninsulas, Victoria Island, Otto, Goye, Catedral and the city of Bariloche.

Following the trip and after passing through the area of the peninsula of San Pedro, you reach the peninsula of Llao Llao, there are the great hotel Llao Llao and the chapel San Eduardo, architectural gems of the region, on Lake Nahuel Huapi: Puerto Pañuelo. Continuing the journey, we will cross the golf courses, the Angostura bridge over the river of the same name that joins lakes Moreno and Nahuel Huapi and López Bay at the foot of the hill of the same name. Further on you will reach the Panoramic Point, which is a natural balcony with a view over Lake Moreno and the Llao Llao Peninsula. Then we cross the bridge that crosses Lake Moreno,we border El Trébol Lagoon and 2 km further on we join Bustillo Avenue, at the height of Km 18, where we return to the city closing the circuit.

Day 4 : Bariloche / Esquel (B / - / -)

Breakfast at the hotel. At the set time, you will be transferred to the bus station to take the regular bus to Esquel.

Reception at the bus station in Esquel and transfer to the hotel. Day in which you can tour and get to know the city.

Day 5 : Esquel (B / BL / -)

Los Alerces National Park :

After breakfast, at the agreed time we leave the hotel for the boat ride, starting from Puerto Chucao located in Los Alerces National Park. From there we embark and sail the Menéndez Lake to go through two of its three big arms and border the big island. We'll pass by the foot of the Torrecillas hill with its extraordinary homonymous glacier of perpetual blue ice, where the boat will stop to contemplate it and be able to take pictures. Throughout the crossing, you will be able to admire the great mountain ranges, with their high peaks crowned with eternal snow. When you reach the end of the northern arm of Lake Menéndez, youdisembark at Puerto Sagrario to begin a land section, with a guided tour of extreme beauty, going deep into the Valdivian forest with its incredible exponents.

At the end of the tour you will be dazzled by "el abuelo", a larch that is over 2,600 years old, 2.20 m in diameter and 57 m high, which is without a doubt the most outstanding exponent that constitutes the second longest living species on the planet. It is for this reason that in 2017 the Los Alerces National Park was declared a World Heritage Site by UNESCO.

Day 6 : Esquel (B / BL / -)

After breakfast, we leave for a privileged place in Patagonia, where the picturesque towns that make up the Comarca del Paralelo 42 are located. On this occasion, we will get to know a large part of it, starting the tour from Esquel at 9.30 am.

Going along National Route 40, we will cross Epuyén and El Hoyo valleys until we reach El Bolsón, where we will visit beer producers, regional sweets and the traditional artisan fair, an attractive fair with a great variety of regional products that made it a classic in the region.

Lago Puelo National Park is an excellent option to continue getting to know the area. It has a privileged climate and is covered by the classic Andean-Patagonian forest. We will visit its immense lake and take the traditional Las Sombras trail.

Day 7 : Esquel (B / BL / -)

Piedra Parada Natural Protected Area :

On this day we will visit the Patagonian steppe, where we will find a rock formation that gives its name to the Piedra Parada Natural Protected Area, which is approximately 270 metres high and is a gigantic silica rock, the product of volcanic activity in the area over 35,000,000 years ago. During the excursion we will see the different effects that the eruption of the volcanic caldera had, making an amazing walk towards the interior of the Cañadón de la Buitrera, complementing the tour with observation of the flora and fauna.

This canyon has an extension of 6 kilometres and looks very attractive because of the colourful rocky cliffs that surround it. There you can see the existence of an eaves, where there was aboriginal occupation more than 5000 years ago, which makes this place of paleontological, anthropological and archaeological interest.

Day 8 : Esquel / Los Antiguos (B / - / -)

After breakfast at the agreed time, transfer from the hotel to the bus terminal in Esquel to take the regular bus to Los Antiguos. Upon arrival in Los Antiguos, transfer to the hotel.

Day 9 : Los Antiguos (B / BL / -)

The Marble Chapels

Pick up from the hotel and transfer for the excursion to the Marble Chapels. At the end of the experience, you will be transferred to the hotel.

Also known as the Marble Cathedrals, are one of the most important tourist attractions in Patagonia. Composed of three limestone formations, they stand out for the beauty of their columns and the intense blue of the waters that protect them.

The Cathedral, La Capilla and La Cueva, sculpted on the shores of Lago General Carrera in the Aysén region, make up one of the most beautiful landscapes of southern Chile and one of the favorite destinations for lovers of photography. They are part of the route of Carretera Austral and have been protected by law since 1994 when they were named Nature Sanctuary.

Sculpted along millennia by the wind and the lake, the Marble Chapels impress visitors with the calcium carbonate formations that can be seen over an area of 300 meters.

To see them, it is necessary to take a boat that can also travel the chapels from inside.

Day 10 : Los Antiguos / El Calafate (B/ BL / -)

The Cave of the Hands

After breakfast we will visit the Cave of the Hands. The deep canyon of the Pinturas River houses the most important archaeological site in Patagonia. In the so-called Cave of Hands, the passage of man through the area has been recorded, reflected in cave paintings, throughout a period of almost ten thousand years. The proposal consists in emulating our ancestors and accessing the site through the same track they knew how to use in ancient times.

Then transfer to the bus station to take the bus to El Calafate.

Perito Moreno Glacier Excursion :

Departing in the morning from El Calafate, after 80 km you reach the western end of the Peninsula de Magallanes from where the walk along the walkways begins. Here you can spend the time you want to this amazing place, with various stops at panoramic points within the National Park.

The walkways are 3 km long. They are located at different levels and allow you to contemplate the glacier from different perspectives and balconies. Depending on the physical conditions, you can reach the lower balconies and near the glacier or stay on the first balconies easily accessible for anyone.
