  • Leh to Tso Moriri via Chumathang (240 km): This route passes through Chumathang, known for its hot springs.
  • Leh to Tso Moriri via Tso Kar (260 km): This route takes you through the Tso Kar saltwater lake and offers stunning landscapes.

  It’s advisable to rent a 4x4 vehicle, as the roads are rough and challenging, especially in the last stretch.

• Permits: Indian nationals need an Inner Line Permit (ILP) to visit Tso Moriri, while foreign nationals need a Protected Area Permit (PAP). These can be obtained in Leh.
