Guilin Travel Guide

Guilin (桂林), located in southern China’s Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region, is famed for its breathtaking karst mountain landscapes, scenic rivers, lush rice terraces, and a blend of traditional and minority cultures. The name “Guilin” means “forest of sweet osmanthus,” and in autumn the city is filled with the fragrance of this delicate flower.
