Day 02 : MEXICO CITY – GUADALUPE SHRINE - TEOTIHUACAN – MEXICO CITY (B / - / -)

Breakfast at the hotel 

Pick up to visit 3 Culture Square and Guadalupe shrine and continue to Teotihuacán (42 km from Mexico City) Teotihuacan, which means the place where men become gods. These are among the most important pre-Hispanic ruins in the Americas due to their masterful urban layout, the monumental architecture and the strong religious and political influence that Teotihuacan held over other cities, here we will visit the Pyramids of the Sun and the Moon. 

Return to Mexico City and overnight at the hotel.

Day 03 : MEXICO CITY – CUERNAVACA – TAXCO – MEXICO CITY (B / - / -)

Breakfast at the hotel. 

Transfer to Taxco with a stop in Cuernavaca, Cuernavaca is known as the forever spring city for its good climate all year. 

Continue to Taxco Considered one of Mexico’s most picturesque towns, this charming destination offers cobblestone streets, colonial buildings and white houses with red tile roofs. Another notable attraction of unparalleled beauty is the Cathedral de Santa Prisca (Santa Prisca Cathedral), one of the most representative examples of baroque architecture in Mexico.

Return to Mexico City and overnight at the hotel.

Day 04 : MEXICO CITY / OAXACA (B / - / -)

Breakfast at the hotel

Transfer to the airport to take flight to Oaxaca. (Earliest flight) Flight ticket is not included on our prices (Also see our option of taking a public bus (NOT INCLUDED))

Arrival at Oaxaca and enjoy a free afternoon visiting the city: in Oaxaca you can admire the beautiful architecture of the buildings in the Centro Historico (Historic Center), which was declared a World Heritage Site by the UNESCO. (City Tour Not Included).

Day 05 : OAXACA – MONTE ALBAN (Handcraft Tour) – TUXTLA GUTIERREZ (By Public Bus) (B / - / -)

Our visits of the day will be to Monte Alban Archaeological Site, which is the former Center of the Zapotec Empire, and it was occupied later for the Mixtec’s. Because of its important cultural development and its monumental architecture, the UNESCO declared this archaeological zone a World Heritage Site in 1987. Continue to Visit Arrazola village known for being Alebrijes producers alebrijes are fantastic figurines made of craved wood and painted by hand with many colors continue to Cuilapam and visit the ex-Convent at last visit Coyotepec famous handcraft producer village of black mud. (Tour finishes at 17:00) Lunch not included 

Return to the hotel to pick up the luggage and Transfer to bus station to take the public bus to Tuxtla. BUS SCHEDULE: ADO PLATINO 1st CLASS departure time 20h00 (10.5 HOURS TRIP)

Overnight on the public bus on route to Tuxtla Gutierrez.

Day 06 : TUXTLA GUTIERREZ – CAÑON DEL SUMIDERO – SAN CRISTOBAL DE LAS CASAS (- / - / -)

Arrival to bus station around 06h10 - 07h00, 

Tour to Sumidero Canyon starts at 12:00, Pick up at 09:00 at the bus station and continue to Chiapa de Corzo, this little town stands by the Grijalva River from where we can explore the impressive Cañon del Sumidero (Sumidero Canyon), one of the nation’s most important natural attractions. In addition, you can visit the magnificent El Chorreadero waterfall, which has gorgeous calcareous caverns and underground rivers. One hour boat trip in this Canyon.

Continue to San Cristobal de Las Casas and lodgment.

Day 07 : SAN CRISTOBAL –INDIANS COMMUNITIES– SAN CRISTOBAL (B / - / -)

Morning guided tour to visit San Juan Chamula, Zinacatan in San Cristobal where you’ll admire all the typical rites the Indians keep. 

Return to San Cristobal de las Casas, and afternoon at leisure in this city, you can discover by yourself impressive religious edifices like the Cathedral or the Templo de Santo Domingo. These buildings were restored using a combination of profuse baroque-style details and local architectural elements, which perpetuate the cultural heritage of ethnic groups that live in the surrounding areas, such as the Tzotziles, Tzeltales and the Lacandons.

Day 08 : SAN CRISTOBAL DE LAS CASAS – AGUA AZUL – PALENQUE  (B / - / -)

Transfer by road to Palenque. Stop at the Agua Azul waterfalls to admire their turquoise-colored waters. Continue to Palenque.

Day 09 : PALENQUE – CAMPECHE (B / - / -)

Visit of the site of Palenque, where we find the most notable ruins of the Mayan culture, it was once a city ruled by priests who knew very well mathematics and astrology.

Day 10 : CAMPECHE – UXMAL – MERIDA (B / - / -)

Today, visit to Uxmal: Located 80 Kms. Of Merida is a real jewel of the classic Maya style, where the Maya expressed their beliefs in their temples designs the temple of the diviner (built by a short man who was the king, according to a legend) the nuns quadrangle (where you may admire the splendor of Puuc style in its flat walls and decorated friezes) and the governor’s palace. Considered one of the most beautiful buildings. 

Continue to Merida and overnight.

Day 11 : MERIDA – CHICHEN ITZA – CANCUN /OR RIVIERA MAYA (B / L / -)

Departure to Chichén-Itzá, in this place, declared a World Heritage Site by UNESCO, you will be transported to pre-Hispanic times. You will visit among other buildings The Pyramid of Kukulkan is one of the most iconic examples of Maya architecture of all time. Each year, during the spring and autumn equinoxes, the famous feathered serpent slides down the steps of the temple showcasing the precise coordination with which the Maya were able to harmonize nature and their surroundings.
