You’ll fly to the Masai Mara Game Reserve, renowned for its rich wildlife, where afternoon game drives will offer sightings of lions, cheetahs, and hippos. More game drives and a sundowner, perfect for capturing the beauty of the African sunset. Take an unforgettable hot air balloon ride at dawn over the savannah, followed by a champagne breakfast and a cultural visit to a Masai village.

The grassy plains are home to a wide range of species, from a pride of lion to cheetah stalking their prey and hippos wallowing in muddy pools. There is never a dull moment in the Masai Mara.

During the heat of the day you will return to camp for a rest, lunch and, of course, the tradition of freshly baked cake and tea or coffee before your afternoon drive. Enjoy a happy hour during sun set over the bush as you round off you late afternoon adventure.

DAY 6 : MASAI MARA GAME RESERVE (Hot air balloon & Cultural visit) (B / L / D)

Start the day by taking a hot air balloon over the savannah at dawn. Departure is from a perfect natural launch site, flames from the hot air balloon burners light the darkness as the crews inflate their craft. The first, pink tongues of sunlight flicker across the skies as the hot air balloon fills, then rises. Suspended in a basket beneath the rainbow-coloured canopy, you’re off for a wildlife viewing adventure with an entirely different perspective. What amazes most first-time balloonists is the absolute stillness: the silence as you float above the plains, the forest and the rivers of the Masai Mara.

The flight lasts an hour or so, drifting wherever the air currents take you. You toast your return to earth with a champagne breakfast, cooked wherever you land. After a champagne breakfast, say goodbye to the team and drive to the other camp. On arrival at the camp, you will have lunch under the shade of the trees and relax by the pool for the afternoon. In the late afternoon visit the famous Masai village, learn more about their cultural way of life and how they survive on a harsh weather condition.

Later in the evening return for Dinner and overnight at Bateleur Camp

Meals : All inclusive

Meet your guide at your Nairobi hotel and head to the Karen district, a lush suburb on the edge of Ngong Road Forest. Visit the African Fund for Endangered Wildlife at the Giraffe Centre, where you'll learn about their conservation work and the story of Daisy Rothschild, a baby giraffe rescued from western Kenya.

At the nonprofit Giraffe Centre, observe Rothschild giraffes mingling with local warthogs in a semi-wild environment. Watch as the giraffes gather at the feeding station, extending their long black tongues to grab food.

Escape the crowds by taking a leisurely walk along a small nature trail, listening to East African bird songs and admiring the plants along the Gogo River. Keep an eye out for giraffes gracefully moving through the forest. After the hike, you'll return to your hotel at a relaxed pace.
