LAKE NAIVASHA & MARA SAFARI
OVERVIEW
This five-day safari begins at Lake Naivasha, where you'll enjoy wildlife and relaxation at the Sopa Lodge. You visit Lake Nakuru National Park for a game drive and picnic lunch. Takes you to the Maasai Mara National Reserve, famous for its wildlife and the great migration. You'll spend the fourth day on game drives exploring the Maasai Mara, with optional activities like a balloon safari.
DAY 1 : JKIA - LAKE NAIVASHA
Upon arrival at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport/On pick up from your NBO Hotel, you will be met and assisted by our Representative before commencing your safari to Lake Naivasha.
Arrive in time for your check in at L. Naivasha Sopa Lodge, which is set in one hundred and fifty acres of grassland studded with Acacia bushes and trees, the resort is not only home to giraffes, waterbuck and both Vervet and Columbus monkeys, but it is also a night stop for the hippos when they leave the lake every night to come and trim the grass on the expansive lawns.
Afternoon will be at leisure enjoying the beautiful and diverse ecosystem around the lake.

DAY 2 : LAKE NAIVASHA
After Breakfast, guests will be met by the driver, then proceed to Lake Nakuru National park, a beautiful wildlife haven where visitors can enjoy the wide ecological diversity and varied habitats that range from Lake Nakuru itself to the surrounding escarpment and picturesque ridges. Lake Nakuru National Park is ideal for bird watching, hiking, picnic and game drives.
Guests will have picnic lunch at the park, later return to Lake Naivasha Sopa Lodge for afternoon relaxation.

DAY 3 : MAASAI MARA NATIONAL RESERVE Approx. – 241km
Guests check out of the Lodge after breakfast, and proceed to Maasai Mara National Park, whose ecosystem has been classified among the 'Seven Wonders of the World” due to the spectacular great migration when over 1 million wildebeests and more than hundred thousands of zebras cross the Mara River coming from the Serengeti to the Masai Mara in search of water and greener pastures.
Check in at Mara Sopa Lodge in time for lunch, afternoon will be at leisure then later proceed for afternoon/evening game drive. You will then return to your lodge for leisure, dinner and overnight.

DAY 4 : MAASAI MARA NATIONAL RESERVE
Today you will spend on game drives exploring the Maasai Mara. The beautiful open grasslands will be your home for the two days which is incredibly rich and varied of plants & animal species. The Maasai Mara Game Reserve is arguably Kenya’s most popular game sanctuary. It is the most famous and most visited game reserve. The film ‘Out of Africa’ was made to a great extent in this reserve.
Lunch will be served at your camp, or you can go for full day game drive with packed lunches.
There are also optional activities like Balloon safari with champagne breakfast, visit to Maasai Village for cultural dance and interaction etc (cost of these optional activities are indicated separately as extra activities).
Later in the evening you will return to your camp for dinner and overnight.

DAY 5 : DEPARTURE
Have breakfast at your camp, and check out. You will then drive back to Nairobi with game drive enroute, one can also opt for a flight back to Nairobi instead of driving. (Additional cost supplement for the flight is given separately as optional).
