OVERVIEW

This journey begins with a visit to Jerash, an exceptionally well-preserved Roman city, followed by the biblical sites of Anjara and the Cave of Jesus. You also explore Tell Mar Elias, linked to the Prophet Elijah, and the archaeological site of Pella. In Madaba, admire Byzantine mosaics before heading to Mount Nebo, believed to be the burial place of Moses. Bethany, the site of Jesus’ baptism, and the Dead Sea are also highlights.

Next, explore Petra, the ancient city carved into rock, and Wadi Rum, where you experience its stunning desert landscape and spend the night in a tent. The journey continues with a jeep tour of Wadi Rum, visits to Karak Castle and the archaeological site of Um Al-Rasas, before returning to Amman.

Day 1 : Aqaba Airport – Aqaba (- / - /D)

Arrive at Aqaba airport. Meet, Assist & then transfer to your hotel in Aqaba.

Day 2 : Aqaba – Wadi Rum (Trekking) (B / L /D)

After breakfast, transfer to Wadi Rum. The tour starts from the Wadi Rum Village with a Bedouin hiking guide to the Nabataen Temple. The next place you will visit is the Lawrence’s Spring and afterwards you go to the Khazali Canyon where you can walk inside to see the inscriptions. Here, you can relax for 1 hour while having lunch and drinking bedouin tea.

After the lunch continue the hike to our Bedouin Camp where you will stay over night but only after witnessing the golden sunset over the dunes. Before looking at the bautiful sky at night you will enjoy a traditional dinner and a relaxing evening by the fire with music an d bedouin tea. You can either choose to sleep in a tent or under a million stars and the silver moon, watching the colorful Milky Way and with a little bit of luck, some shooting stars.

Day 3 : Wadi Rum – Trekking (B / L /D)

After breakfast you will start hiking with a guide to Um Frouth Rock Bridge where you will spend 20 minutes climbing. After this you will take a 1 hour break for lunch.

You can relax as we prepare the meal. After lunch we will go to t he Little Bridge, before returning to the camp for another beautiful sunset.

Day 4 : Wadi Rum - Petra visit – Dead Sea (B / L /D)

After breakfast, visit the Red Rose city of Petra, which was carved out of the solid Rock before about 2000 years ago by the Arab Nabateans. Start the tour on foot passing by the fascinating narrow gorge (the Siq), which is about one kilometer long and eighty meters high. Once of a sudden you will be fac ing Petra’s most famous monument the Treasury (el -Khazneh), continue on foot towards the Monastery (ed - Deir) passing by the Theater, Qasr el -bint, small houses and curved gates.

From the top of the Monastery one can clearly view Palestine the blessed land , the whole area of Sinai & the shrine of the prophet Aaron.

Drive to the Dead Sea (the lowest point on th earth).

Day 5 : Dead Sea – Wadi Mujib Reserve (Siq Trail) – Aqaba (B / L /D)

Pick up from the hotel and then transfer to Mujib Nature Reserve to enjoy the adventure of the Siq Trail. The trail starts at the Visitor Center near the Mujib Bridge, where you will take the cantilevered walkway over the dam and follow the course of the river between towering sandstone cliffs to the base of a large waterfall .

Depending on seasonal rainfall levels, the gorge may contain pools deep enough for swimming. This is an ideal walk to take slowly and enjoy the cool water and shade, especially in the heat of the summer. Continue to Aqaba.

Day 6 : Aqaba – Aqaba airport for departure (B / - /-)

Pick up from the hotel and then transfer to Aqaba airport for departure.
