Day 01 : Queen Alia International Airport – Dead Sea Hotel
Meals: Dinner
Arrival at the Queen Alia International Airport in Amman, our airport representative will wait for you before the immigration desk holding a sign with your name and will assist you with the visa procedures (please don’t miss him or proceed without him). Our airport representative will walk you through customs and to the luggage hall, then you will be transferred to your hotel in The Dead Sea for dinner and overnight stay.
Day 02 : Dead Sea Hotel – Hiking in Wadi Mujib or Wadi Al Hasa Water Siq Trail – Petra Hotel
Meals: Breakfast, Dinner
After breakfast, drive to Wadi Mujib to hike the Siq trail. The trail starts at Mujib Adventure Center where you will take the cantilevered walkway and follow the course of the river between the towering sandstone cliffs to the base of a large waterfall. Depending on seasonal rainfall levels, the gorge may contain pools deep enough for swimming. This is an idea walk to take slowly and enjoy the cool water and shade, especially in the heat of summer. Wadi Mujib usually opens from April to October so during winter season you can change this to a water siq trail in Wadi Al Hasa which is another special experience. Ending the day with a transfer to Petra for dinner and overnight stay.
Day 03 : Petra Hotel – Petra visit – Petra Hotel
Meals: Breakfast, Dinner
After breakfast, today is dedicated to exploring Petra, one of the seven world wonders. Entry by Siq and visit the Treasury, Street of Facades, Theater, Colonnaded Street etc. after lunch inside Petra you will still have time to visit the Monastery and/or the High Place of Sacrifice today. It is a lot of climbing but worth the view! After the visit, drive back to your hotel in Petra for dinner and overnight
Day 04 : Petra Hotel – 3-hour 4X4 Jeep Tour in Wadi Rum + lunch making in the desert with Bedouin man – Wadi Rum Camp
Meals: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner
After breakfast, head further down in southern Jordan to visit other significant sites including Wadi Rum. Explore Wadi Rum on a 3-hour jeep ride into the Jordanian desert, Wadi Rum was best described by T.E. Lawrence as “Vast, echoing and god-like”, and by the locals as “Valley of the Moon.” After the long adventure, enjoy the rest of the day in a camp in Wadi rum and enjoy dinner and an overnight stay. Along the way, enjoy the cultural experience of making lunch with a Bedouin man. Ending the day with dinner and overnight stay in Wadi Rum Camp.
Day 05 : Wadi Rum Camp – Ma’in Hot Spring Private are entry and lunch – Amman Hotel
Meals: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner
After breakfast, you will be transferred to Ma’in. Ma’in 58 km south of Amman and 120 meters below sea level, is the thermal mineral hot springs and waterfalls, where Herod the Great was said to have bathed in its medicinal water, and where people have come for thermal treatments, or simply to enjoy a hot soak, since the days of Rome. After enjoying the hot springs with lunch, transfer to Amman for dinner and overnight stay.
Day 06 : Amman Hotel – Amman city tour (if time permits) – Queen Alia International Airport
Meals: Breakfast, Dinner
After breakfast, your driver will transfer you to Queen Alia International Airport. If time Permits, tour the downtown part of capital city Amman for 2 hours, visiting sites and museums including the Archeological Museum, the Folklore Museum, The citadel, and the Amphitheatre. Everywhere you look there is evidence of the city’s much older past.
Then, head to Queen Alia International Airport for departure.
