OVERVIEW

Experience the beauty and culture of Japan on this captivating journey that begins in Osaka. The adventure unfolds with visits to historic Kurashiki and Okayama, where you’ll explore the charming Bikan area and the House of Ohashi Family, before continuing to the contemporary art haven of Naoshima, renowned for its Art House Project and Chichu Art Museum. Your exploration takes you to Takamatsu, where Ritsurin Park offers a serene landscape before heading to Matsuyama, home to the stunning Matsuyama Castle and the famous Dogo Onsen, a historic hot spring resort.

The journey continues to Hiroshima, where you'll pay respects at the Peace Memorial Museum and the iconic Itsukushima Shrine on Miyajima Island. Return to Osaka for a guided tour that includes the majestic Osaka Castle and the bustling Dotombori area.

DAY 1 : OSAKA (ARRIVAL)

Arrive at Kanasi International Airport (KIX).

Meet an English speaking assistant and board an airport limousine bus or train.

Transfer to your hotel/ station near hotel on your own.

Stay at Hotel Granvia Osaka or similar.

DAY 2 : OSAKA – KURASHIKI – OKAYAMA

Your main suitcase will be transferred from Osaka to Takamatsu.

Please leave your main suitcase at the bell desk or the front desk by 7:30 AM.

Travel with an overnight bag for your night in Okayama (1 night).

Guided Tour in Kurashiki (9:00 - 17:00)

Transfer to Kurashiki by bullet train and local train with your guide. (70 min.)

Visit : Bikan area / House of Ohashi Family

Transfer to Okayama by local train with your guide. (30 min.)

DAY 3 : OAKYAMA – NAOSHIMA – TAKAMATSU

Guided Tour in Naoshima (8:30 - 17:00)

Transfer to Naoshima by ferry with your guide. (20 min.)

Visit: Art House Project (Renovated houses by contemporary artists) / Chichu Art Museum

Transfer to Takamatsu by ferry with your guide. (60 min.)

DAY 4 : TAKAMATSU - MATSUYAMA - DOGO ONSEN

Your main suitcase will be transferred from Takamatsu to Osaka.
