Day 1 : Florence 

Arrival in Florence, Accomodation in hotel 4* in the city center. Afternoon free for individual visits.

Dinner free, overnight stay in Florence.

Day 2 : Walking tour of Florence

Breakfast at the hotel. Meet with the guide and start of the tour.

Morning dedicated to the discovery of Florence and its treasures. With the guide we will walk through the streets of the historic center where you can admire famous monuments, buildings and statues of world renowned artists, such as Michelangelo’s David, Palazzo degli Uffizi and Palazzo Vecchio. Do not miss the stop at Ponte Vecchio, symbol of the city of Florence and Tuscany in general, and the Fontana del Porcellino where traditionally you touch your nose in the hope of receiving good luck in return.

Free time for lunch

15:30 - 17:30 : Optional (not included): Internal visit of the Cathedral of Santa Maria del Fiore with Brunelleschi's Dome.

It is possible to end the day with a private visit inside the monumental complex of the Cathedral of Florence and ascent to Brunelleschi’s Dome.

We will visit the complex of Santa Maria del Fiore, the Duomo of Florence and the church of Santa Croce. During the tour there is a visit to the interior of the Cathedral, of which the facade and the Dome by Brunelleschi are remembered for their beauty, both of which we will visit internally, admiring the magnificent frescoes by Vasari representing the Last Judgment, and externally, from which you can enjoy a splendid view of Florence!

Day 3 : Pisa - Lucca

09:00 - 13:00 : Pisa

Breakfast at the hotel and full day around the medieval towns of Pisa and Lucca.

Free time in Pisa

You can begin discovering the city from Piazza dei Miracoli, which contains many Unesco heritage buildings: the Cathedral, the Baptistery, the Monumental Cemetery and its famous Leaning Tower.One of the most famous square is Piazza Delle Vettovaglie, close there is Borgo Stretto. Take your time to stroll around this shopping streets, very popular with tourists and locals!

Free time for lunch

14:00 - 16:00 : Lucca

Transfer to Lucca

Lucca is very famous for its medieval walls, as the city grew and modernized, the walls that surrounded the old town were maintained and as they lost their military importance, the top of the walls became a pedestrian promenade, today one of Lucca’s main attractions, from where you can overlook the entire city in all its medieval beauty!

You will visit the city center of the town: The Cathedral, dedicated to Saint Martin and a wonderful example of Romanesque architectural style; the Piazza dell’Anfiteatro and the archeological remains under the 12th century church of Saints Giovanni and Reparata; Piazza of San Michele with its beautiful Church of San Michele in Foro, the Basilica of San Frediano as well as the Clock Tower and Guinigi Tower.

Return to Florence and overnight stay.

Day 4 : San Gimignano - Siena

10:00 - 15:00 : San Gimignano wine tasting

Breakfast at the hotel, private transfer to Siena with a stop in San Gimignano for a wine tasting in a winery.

Located between the provinces of Florence and Siena, the Chianti Valley has always been consired the heart of old Tuscany and is famous all over the world for its renowmed wines.

An eventful history and a winemaking tradition dating back to the 13th century have made this area the ideal place to immerse yourself in vineyards, hills and characteristic villages.

Visit to a winery and tasting of wines and EVO oils with a typical Tuscan lunch.

Transfer to Siena and accomodation in a 4* hotel in the city center.

Day 5 : Siena City Center

10:00 - 13:00 : Siena

Breakfast at the hotel and guided tour of the historic center of Siena. 

We will begin our visit from Piazza del Campo with the Torre del Mangia and the façade of the Palazzo Pubblico. In this square the famous Palio di Siena is organized, a horse race organized by the districts of the city. We will continue towards Palazzo Tolomei, once home to illustrious personalities. Followed by a guided tour of the Duomo of Siena, of which we will also see the Baptistery. Inside this temple 12 we will find a sublime collection of masterpieces of art, among which the Maestà by Duccio di Buoninsegna and the statue of St. Paul, sculpted by a very young Michelangelo.

Free time in the afternoon, overnight stay

Day 6 : Val D'Orcia - Montepulciano

09:00 - 12:30 : Val D'Orcia

Breakfast at the hotel, check-out and private transfer to Val d’Orcia, with a visit to San Quirino d’Orcia and Pienza.

The Val d’Orcia is an ample countryside located in Tuscany, in the province of Siena, north and east of Mount Amiata and close to the border with Umbria. It is a region rich in greenery, unmistakable scents, good food and good wine. We will cross the green hills dominated by cypresses and we will show you the postcard places that make it special and famous in Italy and in the world.

On the panoramic road that leads from San Quirico d’Orcia to Pienza is one of the subjects that dominate the postcards and photographs of the Val d’Orcia, the Chapel of the Madonna di Vitaleta. We will continue on foot until we reach the top of a hill where the small chapel stands surrounded by a group of cypresses. Immersed in the beautiful landscapes of the Tuscan countryside, the building has been declared a World Heritage Site by UNESCO.

We will set off to discover the historic center of Pienza, which is certainly the most characteristic of the entire Val d’Orcia. We will stroll through the cobbled streets of the town and admire its Renaissance buildings, such as the Duomo and Palazzo Piccolomini.

15:00 Transfer to Montepulciano

Accomodation in a luxury villa with swimming pool, surrounded by breathtaking view. A special place where you can relax and enjoy the peaceful atmosphere of the authentic Tuscany countrisyde.

Afternoon at disposal for relaxing in villa.

Day 7 : Trasimeno Lake - Arezzo - Montepulciano

09:00 - 13:00 : Trasimeno Lake

Breakfast at the hotel, meet with the driver and transfer to Trasimeno Lake.

An amazing morning to discover Lake Trasimeno and its natural beauty. You will leave by ferry boat from Castiglion del Lago and reach Isola Maggiore in 15 minutes. You will dock at Isola Maggiore, the only island in the lake still inhabited. Take your free time to explore the natural beauty of the island’s lakes and learn more about its history. We will continue sailing towards castiglion del Lago, along the villages of San Feliciano, Monte del Lago and Passignano.

 Free time for lunch.

14:00 - 16:00 : Transfer to Arezzo

Guided tour of Arezzo

The historic center is well preserved both in the works of civil and religious architecture. The heart is Piazza Grande, known as Piazza Vasari, which stands on the area where the Roman Forum was probably located. On the west side you can admire the apse of the Pieve di Santa Maria, on the north side the Palazzo delle Logge by Giorgio Vasari.

We will visit the Church of San Domenico of 1275 where is exposed the wooden Crucifix of Cimabue, the Church of San Francesco (entrance included) with the fresco “The Legend of the True Cross” by Piero della Francesca, The Cathedral (or Cathedral) dedicated to the patron saint of the city San Donato.

Return to the hotel in Montepulciano, overnight stay.

Day 8 : Departure

Breakfast at the hotel, check-out. On request private transfer to Pisa / Rome airport.
