Begin in the tranquil Piedmont region, with time to explore at your leisure. Discover the scenic Langhe hills, renowned for their rolling vineyards and medieval towns, and savor exceptional Piedmontese wines. Visit Asti, a city steeped in history and known for its elegant architecture and fine wines, including Moscato d'Asti. Then, venture to the Ligurian coast, exploring Lerici, the Gulf of Poets, and the picturesque villages of Cinque Terre, where stunning coastal views and DOC wines await. The journey continues to the charming towns of Rapallo and Portovenere, followed by a scenic drive through the Chianti region, where medieval gems like San Gimignano and Monteriggioni offer a taste of Tuscany's rich heritage. Indulge in wine tastings and explore Siena’s architectural splendor, before heading to Florence, the cradle of the Renaissance, to marvel at its iconic landmarks. This journey is an ideal blend of cultural exploration, breathtaking landscapes, and Italian culinary delights, ensuring an unforgettable adventure.

DAY 1 : ARRIVAL

Arrive at hotel in Piedmont in Tigliole d’Asti area. On this day there are no planned activities. Free time to discover the city on your own.

DAY 2 : LE LANGHE WITH PIEDMONT WINE TASTING

After breakfast, driving along the state road 231 in a southerly direction you will reach in Alba, the main center of the Langhe - town with an historic center of medieval structure, towers, and tower-houses with a suggestive nineteenth-century atmosphere. Continuing south you come across Grinzane Cavour. Tasting of Piedmontese wines at “La Cantina del Conte”. Here begins a route that winds along the ridges of the hills that make up "Le Langhe" (literally the thinned crest of a hill chain). Visit La Morra, a medieval town with a splendid viewpoint and Barolo, the production center of the renowned wine of the same name.

DAY 3 : ASTI 

Breakfast Breakfast in hotel. You can dedicate the day to visiting the city of Asti and the Langa Astigiana. Asti, a medieval city characterized by truncated towers with the red color of the brick and the yellow of the tuff, shows its connection with the land and in particular with the production of wine. We recommend a visit to the Collegiate Church of San Secondo, the Baptistery of San Pietro and Palazzo Alfieri. In the afternoon, following the itinerary Isola d'Asti, Nizza Monferrato Canelli, Castiglione Tinella, Castagnole Lanze, Castiglione D'Asti, Asti you will enter the production land of Moscato d'Asti. Tasting in a typical cellar. In the evening, typical dinner in a local restaurant.

DAY 4 : LERICI & GULF OF POETS

Breakfast day After breakfast, departure by car to Liguria to the La Locanda dell'Angelo hotel in Ameglia. Along the way, stop in the Gulf of Tigullio to visit Santa Margherita Ligure and boat excursion (optional) to Portofino. Arrival at the hotel in the evening.

DAY 5 : RAPALLO & PORTOVENERE

Breakfast. Whole day dedicated to visiting the Cinque Terre. Once you reach the La Spezia railway station, depart by train for Riomaggiore, where you will arrive in only 7 minutes, visit the village and then reach Manarola by train. The visit to the "Cinque Terre" continues by train with stops in Vernazza and Monterosso. Here you will have the opportunity to taste the D.O.C. white wine at a local wine shop. of the “Cinque Terre”. In the evening dinner in a typical restaurant.

DAY 6 : PORTOFINO

After day After breakfast, departure and through the Chianti area you will reach Siena (206 km). After leaving the Florence-Livorno highway near San Miniato we will enter the Val d'Elsa, meeting the medieval towns of Castelfiorentino and Certaldo, until reaching San Gimignano, built on a hill overlooking the Val D'Elsa, in an area certainly inhabited in the Etruscan era, constitutes an exceptional testimony to medieval urban planning in Tuscany. We will then encounter Colle Val d'Elsa, an ancient and dynamic manufacturing center and Monteriggioni, a village in the gentle landscape of the Sienese hills, a rare example of excellently preserved medieval military architecture. Wine tasting at a local winery.

Arrival in Siena, hotel accommodation. Visiting the Palazzo Pubblico and the Duomo, we recommend taking the most characteristic streets, Via di Città, Via Banchi di Sopra and Via Banchi di Sotto.

Overnight stay at the Montaperti hotel in Asciano.

DAY 7: BAY OF SILENCE & GULG OF TRIGULLIO

After breakfast, departure for Florence (Km. 68). Itinerary of the greatest interest for the beauty and variety of the landscapes and for the centers, among the richest in character of history and art that it encounters; takes place in the large hilly region between Florence and Siena and which is also largely the famous Chianti wine area. Tasting at the San Iacopo winery in Greve in Chianti. Florence, city of art par excellence, the Duomo, the Baptistery, Palazzo della Signoria, the Ponte Vecchio offer a significant glimpse of the Italian Renaissance. Typical dinner in a local restaurant. Way back to the hotel.

DAY 8 : DEPARTURE KM 25

Breakfast in the hotel. Check out at 10:00.
