OVERVIEW

Explore Greece’s diverse faces whilst you refine your skills in photography alongside a top pro of photography. Experience the culture, the nature, the landscapes, the culinary scene and the authentic Greek way of living of various destinations, through an immersive multiday photography workshop trip. The idea throughout a photography workshop trip is to have daily photo shoots that we can view and discuss at the end of the day. Each day we will take one or two tours around the places to visit designated sites and work on specified photo projects. Our aim is to cover as many areas of photography as possible, such as archaeological, street, architectural, landscape and portrait photography.
In a friendly casual format, our photo tours offer in-depth, hands-on photography instruction, through a rich itinerary that draws the profile of each place.

Day 1 : Arrival in Athens

Upon arrival at Athens International Airport, you will be met by our representative and transferred to your hotel.

In early afternoon, we meet with our leader photographer and proceed with a sightseeing photo walk at the old picturesque neighborhoods around Acropolis: Plaka and Thissio. At the end of the tour, we shall have an acquaintance welcome dinner at one of the finest urban taverns.

Overnight stay in Athens.

Day 2 : Athens (B / - / -)

In the morning, we start with a guided visit of Acropolis archaeological site and then we proceed with a food tasting (“koulouri”, loukoumas, Greek coffee, cold cuts & cheeses) through a photo tour in Athens down town: Monastiraki & Psiri with our leader photographer. Break for rest or lunch (optional) and in the afternoon, we have our 1st review of your shots.

Overnight stay in Athens.

Day 3 : Nemea, Mycenae & Nafplio (B / - / -)

Check out from hotel in Athens and we drive to mythical Nemea site, where we stroll in its amazing vineyards and visit one of its famous wineries, accompanied by a lunch of local flavors (optional).

We continue with a guided visit to the nearby archaeological site of Mycenae, home to the kingdom of mythical Agamemnon, where we shall see the Cyclopean Walls, the Lion’s Gate, the Royal Tombs, including Agamemnon Clytemnestra's, and the Treasury of Atreus, a magnificent 14th-century B.C. Dating back to the second century B.C., Mycenae was one of the major centers of Greek civilization and a military stronghold which dominated much of southern Greece.

After Mycenae, we reach the 1st capital of Greece and one of the most picturesque cities of Greece, Nafplio. Balance of the day at leisure for wonderful strolls in city’s alleys.

Overnight stay in Nafplio.

Day 4 : Nafplio (B / - / -)

In the morning, we start our day by exploring Nafplio town, trying to capture the life of the town, climb up at its castle for panoramic shots. Nafplio occupies a knockout waterside location beneath the towering Palamidi fortress, and is graced with attractive narrow streets, elegant Venetian houses, neoclassical mansions and interesting museums. Balance of the day at leisure.
