OVERVIEW

This 10-day journey through Egypt highlights the wonders of Cairo, Aswan, Luxor, and Hurghada. It begins with exploring Cairo’s iconic Pyramids of Giza and the Sphinx, followed by a scenic cruise along the Nile River with stops at the Philae Temple, the temples of Kom Ombo, and Edfu. In Luxor, you'll visit the Valley of the Kings, Queen Hatshepsut's Temple, and the vast Karnak complex. The adventure concludes in Hurghada, where you'll relax on the Red Sea's beautiful beaches and have the opportunity for water sports or desert excursions.

DAY 1 : CAIRO 

Arrival at Cairo airport where our representative will meet you to process your visa and complete all procedures of immigration and customs, transfer to the hotel.

DAY 2 : CAIRO (B / - / -) 

Breakfast. In the morning we will make a panoramic visit to the Three Pyramids of Giza: Cheops, Kefren and Mecerinos, the architectural ensemble considered the most important of the Seven Wonders of the Ancient World. We will admire the Sphinx with a human head attributed to King Kefren and the body of a lion and we will visit the Temple of Kefren. In the afternoon possibility of making an optional visit to the Sakkara Necropolis and the Dahshour Pyramids.

DAY 3 : CAIRO (B / - / -) 

Breakfast. Free day with the possibility of making an optional visit to the City of Cairo including: The Citadel of Saladin with the Alabaster Mosque, the Museum of Pharaonic Art in Cairo (Al-Tahrir), and the Grand Souk of Khan el Khalili accompanied by an Egyptologist guide and includes Lunch at a local restaurant, return to the hotel.

DAY 4 : CAIRO - ASWAN (PLANE) (Full Board)

Breakfast and at the scheduled time transfer to the airport to take the flight to Aswan. Arrival and transfer to the river motor ship to embark. Lunch on board. In the afternoon, departure to visit the Temple of Philae and a ride on a Felucca.

The Philae temple, one of the four temples and places where the events of the Legend of the triad of Isis, Osiris and Horus, the Sons of the god Ra, take place. From the air and the Humidity Shuo and Tefnut, two divinities were born: Geb, the god of the earth, and Nut, the goddess of the sky. These two fathered four children: Osiris, Isis, Seth and Nephthis. Osiris and his sisters Isis and Nephthis represented good, while Seth represented evil. Osiris, being the eldest and favorite son of the gods, reigned on earth, teaching humans, agriculture, writing and civilization. While his brother, Seth, was revolting with envy. Seth plotted to assassinate his brother and rule over Egypt.

Return to the motor ship, dinner and night on board.

DAY 5 : ASWAN - KOM OMBO - EDFU (BOAT) (Full Board)

Breakfast. Free morning, where you can optionally visit Abu Simbel by bus, where the magnificent Temples of Ramses II and his wife Nefertari are located. Return to the motor ship. Lunch on board and navigation to Kom Ombo to visit the Temple dedicated to the gods Sobek and Haroreis. In this temple, the relief of medicinal instruments stands out above all. Over the years, the people of this town did not like to be associated with a god that represents evil (Sobek), so they added another god, Haroreis, as their brother and partner in the temple cult. Legend has it that Sobek, the evil Brother, schemed against his Brother Haroreis and the population, seeing the god of his love leave the town, he also left until he left the town completely deserted. Return to the motor ship to continue sailing towards Edfu.

DAY 6 : EDFU - ESNA - LUXOR (Full Board)

Breakfast. Departure to visit the temple of Edfu, dedicated to the God Horus. It is the best preserved temple in Egypt and the most important after Karnak. It measures 137 meters in length by 79 in width and 36 in height, and represents the typical construction of temples with the pilon, the patio, two hypostyle rooms, a chamber for offerings, the central room and the sanctuary. One of its most curious characteristics is the lighting of the temple, with smaller and smaller rooms that gradually prevented the passage of light until reaching the dark sanctuary, which receives lighting only from the axis. Navigation towards Esna to pass the lock.

DAY 7 : LUXOR - HURGHADA (Full Board)

Breakfast. At the indicated time, disembarkation and departure to visit the Necropolis of Thebes: The Valley of the Kings (entrance to 03 Tombs), Temple of Queen Hatchepsut (known as El Deir el Bahari.) the ruins of the Temple of Amenophis III, where we will be able to admire the Colossi of Memnon, two gigantic stone statues representing Pharaoh Amenhotep III located on the western bank of the Nile, (they welcomed the funerary temple of this pharaoh and are currently being excavated by one of the best Spanish archaeologists). The 18-meter-high statues presided over the monumental entrance to the temple and were carved on blocks brought expressly from Gebel El Ahmar by order of the temple's architect.

We will cross the Nile to visit the temples of Karnak (this is the largest in the world that exhibits monuments dating from the Middle Kingdom (XXI century BC) to Roman times (VII century AD) and the Luxor Temple built by Amenophis III and expanded by Ramses II (It is the only Temple that has monuments from the Pharaonic, GrecoRoman, Coptic and Muslim eras), At the indicated time, transfer by road to Hurghada.

Arrival and transfer to the hotel in all-inclusive accommodation.

DAY 8 : HURGHADA (All Inclusive)

Breakfast. Free day to enjoy the beaches of the Red Sea and practice water sports, or take optional excursions such as safari through the eastern desert, diving or snorkeling.

DAY 9 : HURGHADA (All Inclusive)

Breakfast. Free day to enjoy the beaches of the Red Sea and practice water sports, or take optional excursions such as safari through the eastern desert, diving or snorkeling.

DAY 10 : HURGHADA - CAIRO – CITY OF ORIGIN  (B / - / -) 

Breakfast. Transfer to Cairo International Airport to take the return flight.
