Day 1 : Santiago de Chile (- / - / -)

Upon arrival at Santiago International airport, you will be met by our representative and escorted to your hotel. Our representative will assist you with check-in procedures and provide you with a detailed itinerary, covering all the services included in your tour and additional information on the organization of your Chile trip. You will also receive a contact information sheet with all the hotel details as well as our offices contact information and a 24-hour emergency number.

Day 2 : Santiago de Chile (B / - / -)

HD City Tour :

The visit to the city is a tour of the historical, commercial and residential areas of Santiago. We will visit the courtyards of the Government Palace "La Moneda", the historical centre with the Plaza de Armas, the Cathedral, the Central Post Office, the Town Hall, etc. Then, we will walk along the main avenue of the city: "La Alameda" and we will be able to observe the Forestal Park, San Cristóbal Hill and the bohemian Bellavista neighborhood. Later, we will continue through the modern residential and commercial areas, sectors that reach the foot of the Andes.

Once the tour is over, we will return to the hotel.

At the set time you will be transferred to Santiago de Chile airport. Upon arrival at Calama airport, you will be met by our representative and escorted to your hotel in San Pedro de Atacama.

HD Moon and Death Valleys :

We will arrive at the Valley with a wide panoramic view of the Andes Mountains, the Great Salt Lake of Atacama, the Oasis of San Pedro and the whole of the Salt Mountain Range. Its dunes will transport us to a true landscape of another planet, with the ever-present Licancabur as a backdrop. The first stop will be at the Cuevas de la Sal, impressive caves where you can appreciate the heart of salt, gypsum and clay of the Cordillera de la Sal. We will continue in the Valley, crossing it transversely, and visiting the Amphitheatre and the Tres Marías. Finally we will be able to watch the sunset at the Piedra del Coyote viewpoint with a beautiful view of the Andes.

Return and arrival to San Pedro de Atacama.

Day 7 : Atacama / Villamar (B / - / -)

Pick up from Hito Cajón (border between Bolivia and Chile) to enter Eduardo Abaroa Reserve and begin the visits: Laguna Verde, unique due to the active microorganisms that give color to the water. Continuing along the path, we reach the hot springs of Polques, hot water springs due to the volcanic activity in the region. Visit to the "Sol de Mañana" geysers, charming fumaroles that are best seen in the mornings. Lunch. After appreciating the hot springs, we visit Laguna Colorada, an impressive display of a highly diverse ecosystem in a completely desolate climate.

Transfer to Villamar for overnight stay.

Day 8 : Villamar / Colchani (B / L / D)

Early departure from the hotel to start the day with a visit to the Stone Tree, a silent witness to the erosion of the land and the passage of years, part of the Siloli Desert, a vegetation-free plain. The visit continues towards the viewpoint of the Ollagüe volcano, where you can have a glimpse of its activity and a desertlandscape. Leaving the viewpoint, we head to the "Andean Jewels" lagoons, small lagoons that showcase the biodiversity of the region, remarkable for their small sizes, different colors, and aromas.

Lunch at a restaurant or picnic.

Transfer to the hotel in Colchani. Dinner.

Day 9 : Colchani (B / - / -)

Breakfast at the hotel.

Time to visit the magnificent Uyuni Salt Flats to visit Playa Blanca, Salt Museum; the Salt Eyes, interesting for being points where underground water emerges from the salt flat; the salt hexagons, geometric formations on the surface of the salt flat, salt mounds, and crossing the salt flat to enjoy the beautiful landscapes. We continue with the visit to Incahuasi Island. This island is located in the heart of the salt flat and is the largest in a group of islands that represent an isolated ecosystem. The island is populated by a species of cactus that can reach heights of up to 12 meters, providing an impressive panorama of the place.

Lunch. We will appreciate the sunset and then transfer to the hotel. Dinner.

Note: From April to November, the dry season, the surface of the salt flat provides an opportunity to play with photography and perspective. From December to March, the salt flat is completely covered with water and becomes a large mirror where the sky is perfectly reflected on the surface. Due to the flooding of the salt flat during this season, it is possible that vehicles may not be able to access all the mentioned attractions, and as a precaution, they will only reach the safest flooded areas.

Day 10 : Colchani / Tupiza (B / - / -)

After breakfast, transfer to Tupiza. Once there, we will go to the selected hotel.

After that, short walk through the city.

Day 11 : Tupiza / Purmamarca (B / - / -)

After breakfast we will depart to the Bolivian border to cross to Argentina. Our drive brings us down from the Bolivian high plateaus to the colorfull Argentinean northwest region. We will visit the Town of Humahuaca. Picturesque little town that gives the name to this beautiful gorge.

After some free time at the village we will continue towards Tilcara to visit its Pucara, the most important archaeological site in Argentina. It is a fortress located on top of a hill that controls the valley with exceptional views. Short visit to the town of Tilcara perhaps with some free time to visit its interesting the Archaeological Museum.

We will arrive at Purmamarca in afternoon hours.

Day 12 : Purmamarca / Salta (B / - / -)

Breakfast at the hotel.

Morning free time to visit to Purmamarca Village to look closely at the well-known Hill of the Seven Colours, the Church and the Craft Market on the square, and even taking a brief stroll visiting its narrow streets and get in touch with the locals.

In the afternoon, transfer to the city of Salta.

HD City Tour :

The tour includes attractions such as the 9 de Julio Avenue, the Obelisk and Corrientes Street; we will see the Plaza de Mayo, the Cathedral and the Cabildo (Old City Hall). After that, the trip will continue towards the most traditional neighborhood of Buenos Aires, San Telmo, which is characterized by its old colonial houses and the cobblestoned streets.

Later on, the tour will go to La Boca Neighborhood located in the south of the city. There will be a stop so as to look around the colorful zinc houses that make up this area of Buenos Aires and that used to be the refuge and home for the first immigrants and popular artists.Soon after, the you will have a panoramic view of Puerto Madero – the old port of the city that was turned into one of the most exclusive gastronomic and residential areas in Buenos Aires.

Finally, the last point in the tour is Recoleta, which is one of the most selected neighborhoods and where, among other attractions, the Recoleta Cemetery can be found. Also, there are bars, cafes and fancy restaurants that are worth a visit. Here will be the last stop so as to walk to the cemetery area and its surroundings.
