UGANDA HIGHLIGHTS
Day 1 : Arrival at Entebbe Airport ( - / - / D)
Upon arrival at the airport, you will be warmly welcomed by our office representative who will then take you to your hotel in Kampala. If time allows have a taste of Uganda’s finest food Luwombo in one of the best restaurants in Kampala.

Day 2 : Entebbe –Kibale National Park ( 6 hours’ drive) (B / L / D)
Begin your morning fascinating drive through papyrus swamps and thick jungle of the Nile Delta with your lunch en-route connecting to Kibale National Park just under the Ruwenzori Mountains. Afternoon guided walk in the crater lakes area of the park for outstanding cultural visit.

Day 3 : Kibale National Park –Queen Elizabeth National Park (3 hours drive) (B / L / D)
In the morning you will have breakfast to transfer to Kibale Headquarters for briefing before setting off for a forest walk in search for chimpanzees. The forest walk will be guided to provide information not only on chimpanzees and primates but also on small organisms making it interesting. The walk will reward you with other primates like Grey cheeked Mangabeys, Colobus monkeys, Red-tailed.
After chimp trekking drive to Queen Elizabeth National Park known to be the most popular national Park in Uganda. En-route game drives as you proceed to the lodge.

Day 4 : Queen Elizabeth Park (B / L / D)
Dawn game drive in Uganda’s best park, where all the big game can be seen in abundance. Famous for elephant and kob, expect to see some rarer animals like giant forest hog. There are 638 recorded bird species in the park! After lunch, enjoy a boat cruise on the Kazinga Channel which connects Lakes Edward and George, for large numbers of buffalo and hippo.

Day 5 : Queen Elizabeth National Park – Bwindi Impenetrable National Park (6 hours’ drive) (B / L / D)
Today’s drive is through what is probably East Africa’s most spectacular scenery, the highland rain forests which reach to the volcanoes in which live the mountain gorillas. Have a game drive at Ishasha sector on your way to Bwindi in search of the tree climbing lions. Later, drive to Bwindi via the beautiful scenery of the tea plantations. This is the lushest highland rain forest on earth, filled with primates and exotic birds. The afternoon is spent on a foot safari around the local communities living around the park.

Day 6 : BWINDI - Gorilla Trekking (B / L / D)
Begin the day with breakfast ready for trekking, which begins at 8:00 am with a briefing from the UWA staff. Ensure to carry along with you rain jacket, drinking water, snacks, jungle boots etc The guides will lead you inside the jungle to see the shy Primates for a group you have been booked for. Do not forget to take your lunch boxes and all the necessary gear to track the rare Mountain Gorilla, perhaps one of the most exciting wildlife experiences on earth. There are now only 650 left in the world! The tracking may take between 2 and 6 hours but its well worth the effort.

Day 7 : Batwa trail experience and Coffee tour (B / L / D)
After Breakfast, prepare for the Batwa trail experience that leads you to the lives of the ancient people of the forest. They display their hunting skills, harvesting of honey, traditional performances and demonstration of making bamboo cups among others. Learn as they guide you through the forest, dance, sing and storytelling of their traditional ways of farming, handling the bow, gather honey and picking herbal medicine from roots and leaves a local way of treating the local people. The experience shows you how they lived in grass thatched houses, caves, hunted small animals which were used for food. The trail begins with a nature walk, hike through the forest as you learn from the first keepers of the forest this takes half a day.
Later in the afternoon, Compliment the amazing Batwa trail experience at Bwindi National Park with a coffee tour at a local farm in Kisoro district. Spend time with small scale farmers near Bwindi Impenetrable National Park. Through the coffee-making experience, you will learn how to dig, weed, and harvest organic coffee in a real farming environment. You will get involved and learn about the process from seedlings to the drink/cup. You will be able to take part in picking, pounding, roasting, grinding, and drinking coffee. The skills and knowledge needed by farmers will bring a new appreciation to your coffee drinking habits. Here you take nothing, but the everlasting coffee-making experience.

Day 8 : Transfer to Lake Bunyonyi (3 hours’ drive) (B / L / D)
After breakfast, drive to Lake Bunyonyi for the morning boat trip for sightseeing and birding along Lake Bunyonyi. Feel the wonders of nature as you will see big terraced hills, big valleys, and 29 islands which Lake Bunyonyi is known of with great history.
Overnight and meals at Birdnest Resort Lake Bunyonyi (Luxury) or Lake Bunyonyi Rock Resort (Mid range)

Day 9 : Fly back to Entebbe (2 hours’ fly) (B / L / D)
You will be driven to Kihihi airstrip by our driver guide to catch up with your morning flight departing at 0945 arriving Entebbe airport 1125. You will meet our office representative at the airport who will then take you for lunch. Later in the evening have a sunset boat cruise on the local bays and shoreline of Lake Victoria for 1.5 hours including snacks and drinks on board. The drinks include water, beers, Uganda waragi, Bottle of wine (Red or White) on request. The sunset boat cruise starts @ 5.00pm.

Day 10 : Transfer to Entebbe Airport (B / - / -)
After breakfast, Rest at the hotel and our driver guide will be waiting to take you to Entebbe airport to catch up with your flight to the next destination.
