Day 1 : Lima (- / - / -)
Upon arrival, our staff will be waiting for you at the airport to transfer you to the selected hotel.
Rest of the day free to rest or take an excursion (on request), if time permits.

Day 2 : Lima (B / - / -)
Breakfast at the hotel.
Half Day City Tour in Lima :
Between 9:10 and 9:40 or between 14:10 and 14:40 hours, depending on your choice, we will pick you up from your hotel to start the panoramic city tour where we can see the Colonial Centre, the Plaza Mayor, the Palace of Government, the Cathedral Basilica, the Archbishop's Palace and the Municipality of Lima. Also, we will visit Santo Domingo, a convent with cloisters and catacombs of the Colonial period. The tour starts with a panoramic view of the Huaca Pucllana and the traditional, residential and commercial areas of Lima to continue with the historic centre of Lima and end with a spectacular panoramic view of the Pacific Ocean and the beaches of the Miraflores district from the park of love.

Day 3 : Lima / Huaraz (B / - / -)
At the indicated time, you must board the bus to Huaraz (Departure at 08.00 hrs.). The duration of the trip is approximately 8 hours. Upon arrival, reception, transfer and accommodation at the hotel. Rest of the afternoon free to acclimatize and rest or stroll around.

Day 4 : Huaraz (B / L / -)
Breakfast at the hotel. This day we will leave the city, heading north to the Callejón de Huaylas, following the waters of the Santa River, between the white and black mountain ranges, and passing through Andean towns such as Carhuaz, Mancos, Ranrahirca and Yungay. At this point we deviate 27 km ascending the White Mountain Range until we reach the beautiful Laguna de Llanganuco, located at 3,850 meters above sea level, on the base of the snowy Huascarán (the highest peak in Peru: 6768 meters above sea level), and formed by waters of melting of this same snow-capped mountain, as well as Huandoy, Pisco, Yanapaccha and Chopicalqui. By making this visit we will be entering the Huascarán National Park, a Natural Heritage of Humanity and a World Biosphere Reserve. In this place we will have direct contact with nature, specifically with the beautiful Quenuals that surround the lagoon and with the purity of its waters.
After some time to explore and admire the beauty of the place, those who like to can start a walk of approximately one hour along the María Josefa path, within the purest natural environment of the high Andean flora and fauna. Typical lunch included. Then we will return to Yungay and visit the cemetery. From there we will go to the city of Caráz, and after a visit we will return to Huaraz.

Day 5 : Huaraz (B / L / -)
Breakfast at the hotel.
On this day, we will head south to the Callejón de Huaylas. Our goal: the Chavín de Huántar Archaeological Center, one of the oldest civilizations in America (2000 years BC) that still hides the mysteries of its origin. Inside Chavín you will be able to appreciate the impressive Monolithic Lanzón (lithic sculpture), the underground galleries in the form of labyrinths, underground channels, Heads Clavas, ceremonial squares, La Portada de las Falcónidas, different systems of stairways and complex ventilation systems.
On the way we will be able to observe mining towns, we will visit the Querococha Lagoon and we will pass through the Cahuich Tunnel, located at 4,178 meters above sea level, which crosses the Cordillera Blanca joining the Callejón de Huaylas with the Callejón de Conchucos. Lunch, visit to the Chavín museum and return to Huaraz.

Day 6 : Huaraz (B / - / -)
At the indicated time, transfer from the hotel to the bus station. You will take the night bus to Lima.

Day 7 : Cusco (- / - / -)
Upon arrival in Lima, transfer from the bus station to the airport to board the flight to the city of Cusco. Arrival, reception and transfer to the hotel. Free time to rest.
City tour in Cusco and Nearby Ruins :
Between 13:00 and 13:30 hours, our staff will pick you up from the hotel to start the tour of the colonial city, built on the bases of Inca palaces. In the tour we will visit the Main Square, the Temple of the Sun, also known as Qoricancha, and the Cathedral of Cusco, where we can see beautiful paintings and sculptures. Then we will continue to the archaeological centre of Sacsayhuaman, a multipurpose place where the Sun, the Moon and the Earth were worshiped, and which was also used as a military fortress and an astrological centre. Later we will arrive at Q'enco, a cult centre related to the fire element. We continue with Puca Pucara, a place used as a supply centre and Inca checkpoint, where wind ceremonies were also held.
At the end of the tour we will arrive at Tambomachay, centre of cult to water and fertility. Return to the hotel and spend the night in Cusco.

Day 8 : Cusco / Sacred Valley (B / L / -)

Full Day Sacred Valley :
Between 08:00 and 08:30 hours our staff will pick you up from your hotel to start the tour to the Sacred Valley of the Incas, where we visit the beautiful town of Pisac, its handicraft market and its narrow streets.
We will continue the tour through the Sacred Valley to Urubamba, where you can enjoy a delicious buffet lunch.Then we will visit Ollantaytambo, a still inhabited Inca City that preserves a complex system of irrigation Canals and foundations of the time when much of the village was built. The archaeological site of Ollantaytambo has large groups of terraces, fortresses, squares, canals and the Sun Royal House, a megalithic temple of great mystical value. Overnight in the Sacred Valley.

Day 9 : Sacred Valley / Machu Picchu / Cusco (B / L / -)
Excursion to Machu Picchu :
At the indicated time, transfer to the train station to start the excursion to the Sacred City of Machu Picchu, recognized as one of the wonders of the world and declared a World Heritage Site by UNESCO. The train takes us to the town of Aguas Calientes, from where we will ascend by bus to the Archaeological Centre and start the guided tour that lasts approximately 2 hours. During the visit you can see temples, squares, terraces, houses, barns, as well as the great biodiversity that exists in the surroundings. It is worth noting that the beauty of Machu Picchu is exalted by the extraordinary scenery where it is located.Around the citadel has been formed a National Reserve that has an area of 32,500 hectares, and that includes a constellation of archaeological monuments, which, in our opinion, were built as part of the Machu Picchu complex and not in isolation.
At the indicated time we will return to the town of Aguas Calientes, where we have lunch included. Return by train to Cusco city. Upon arrival, our staff will be waiting for you to transfer you to your hotel.
