Day 1 : ARRIVAL IN LIMA (- / - / -)
Upon arrival at the Lima airport, a transportation service will pick you up to transfer you to your hotel. The Peruvian capital is a modern metropolis full of history, which is currently undergoing an exciting process of cultural and economic changes.

Day 2 : LIMA – LARCO MUSEUM & CITY TOUR (B / L / D)
Get ready to explore the old town of Lima, declared a World Heritage Site by Unesco, which is full of fascinating historical buildings. The route begins with the Larco Museum, located in the traditional district of Pueblo Libre and housed in a beautifully restored colonial mansion, which in turn is built on a pre-Columbian pyramid of the seventh century. The museum has a complete pre-Hispanic collection of gold and silver objects, as well as pieces of erotic art. Then, go to Casa de Aliaga, a colonial mansion granted in 1535 by the conquistador Francisco Pizarro to one of its captains, Jerónimo de Aliaga. This is the only house of the time that still belongs to the same family.
Continue with a scenic tour through the colonial centre. Visit the Plaza de Armas, where you can appreciate the magnificent architecture of the Spanish Empire. There, visit its splendid Cathedral, built in the sixteenth century. After the visit, you will enjoy a lovely dinner, in a famous restaurant that offers delicious contemporary Peruvian cuisine at a 5-step tasting dinner.

Day 3 : LIMA – SACRED VALLEY: LIVING MUSEUM OF YUCAY, INCA BLESSING (B / - / -)
A vehicle will take you to the airport in Lima to make your flight to Cusco. Once in the Imperial City, a transport service will take you to your hotel in Sacred Valley. On the way, you will visit the Living Museum of Yucay, an interpretation centre of the Andean traditions, with demonstrations of elaboration of textile work, handicrafts of adobe, ceramics and silverware with the use of the same ancient Inca techniques. In the place live alpacas, llamas and sheep, which you can see up close and even feed.
Then, you will be part of a traditional Inca ceremony with a shaman, who will perform a special blessing that will accompany you the rest of your trip. Once at the hotel, you will have the afternoon free to enjoy its amenities, the excellent weather and the beauty of the landscape.

Day 4 : MARAS & MORAY– SACRED VALLEY (B / L / -)
Head through the Sacred Valley to the archaeological site of Moray, which is about an hour and a half away. Like many Inca sites, its exact function remains a mystery, although its design in the form of ever-widening concentric circular terraces means that each level had a different microclimate.
Continue to Maras, where the salt lagoons create dazzling scenery. Thousands of small ponds provide jobs and help feed many local families. In times of the Incas, the salt deposits were an important economic centre and of great value for the imperial economy. After your visit, enjoy a traditional lunch and then return to rest at your hotel.

Day 5 : SACRED VALLEY - MACHU PICCHU (B / L / -)
A transportation service will pick you up and transfer you to the Ollantaytambo Station to board the train to Aguas Calientes, the nearest town to Machu Picchu. Take the train to Aguas Calientes, travel observing the Andean landscapes during a journey of an hour and a half. Our guide will be waiting for you and will accompany you until the departure point of the bus. Afterwards, take a bus for the 25-minute journey up to Machu Picchu, known as the "Lost city of the Incas".
It is believed that this archaeological site was built in 1450 by the Inca Pachacutec as his holiday home. However, a century later, the city was abandoned after the Spanish conquest, escaping the destruction that azotó other Incas settlements. Along with the guided tour, you will have the opportunity to learn about the origins of this impressive city and explore its most outstanding monuments.
After completing the tour, you will take the bus to Aguas Calientes, where you will enjoy lunch at your selected restaurant.

Day 6 : MACHU PICCHU - CUSCO (B / L / D)
Today, you can optionally return to Machu Picchu. You may discover the views from Huayna Picchu, which is about 360 metres above Machu Picchu with an underground temple complex; and from Inti Punku, which offers even better views from about 390 metres above the citadel. Another option is the Inca Bridge, a secret military trail, which controls access to the citadel. In the afternoon,when you are ready, board the train back. The trip by train will take an hour and a half and it will take you back to Ollantaytambo, where our transportation will accompany you back to your hotel in Cusco.
At night,you will have dinner at Incanto Restaurant. Located a few meters off the Main Square of the fascinating city of Cusco in an old Inca palace, the new Incanto is definitely worth a visit. Welcoming and contemporary, its varied menu contains more than 80 dishes. The restaurant offers Italian food, pasta and various specialities from the grill cooked with an original touch and using Peruvian ingredients.

Day 7 : CUSCO – HORSEBACK RIDING /CUSCO WALKING TOUR (B / L / D)
Travel around Cusco in an extraordinary horseback riding experience, where you will have beautiful views of the city as you cross cultivated fields and pass near cozy little houses of local people. The perfect opportunity to relax and enjoy a quiet morning. In the afternoon, you will visit the best corners of Cusco on foot, starting at the Convent of Santo Domingo that was built on the Inca temple of the Coricancha, one of the essential enclosures dedicated to the cult of the sun. The ancient chronicles say that its walls were covered with gold leaf and full of golden representations of nature. Then, visit the Cathedral, the most imposing monument of the Plaza de Armas.
Finally, you will visit the market of San Pedro – the most famous in the city – where you can see up close a large number of agricultural products from different areas of Cusco and try some delicacies such as chocolate or cheese. Return to your hotel to cool off and, at night, go out to enjoy a nice dinner and a cosmopolitan food at restaurant Cicciolina, which combines Mediterranean tradition with products from the region, they make good, homily food in a cozy environment.
* The visit to the market of San Pedro can be replaced by a visit to Casa Concha, an old colonial house that houses an impressive collection of Inca pieces from Machu Picchu.

Day 8 : CUSCO (B / - / -)
Enjoy the free day in Cusco to relax walking through its cobblestone streets to your liking, visiting its squares, doing some shopping or, if you wish, taking one of the optional tours or activities.

Day 9 : CUSCO – INTERNACIONAL DEPARTURE (B / - / -)
A vehicle will take you to the airport in Cusco to board your flight to Lima.
