OVERVIEW
This journey begins in Yangon, where you are welcomed and have leisure time to explore. At Mandalay to visit significant religious and historical sites, including the Mahamuni Pagoda, Mandalay Royal Palace, and enjoy a sunset view from Mandalay Hill. Next, you travel to Bagan to explore its ancient pagodas and temples, such as the Shwezigon Pagoda and Ananda Temple.
The trip continues with a drive to Nyaung Shwe via Mount Popa and Kalaw, offering breathtaking scenery. At Inle Lake, you experience a full day on the water, observing local life and visiting pagodas and monasteries. The adventure extends to Indein, where you explore markets, pagodas, and local villages.
Day 1 : Yangon
Upon arrival at Yangon airport you will be welcomed by your guide and transferred to your hotel. Your room might not be ready for early check in.

The rest of the day is at leisure.

Overnight in Yangon
Day 2 : Yangon – Mandalay (B / L / D)
After breakfast we fly to Mandalay and upon arrival, we visit one of the most revered religiousmonuments in Myanmar, the Mahamuni Pagoda and then transfer to hotel for check in.
In the afternoon we experience the sights and sounds of Mandalay including the Mandalay Royal Palace, Shweinbin Monastery the Golden Palace Monastery and Kuthodaw Pagoda which contains the world’s largest book made from 729 slabs of marble inscribed with Buddhist teachings before proceeding to Mandalay Hill to watch the stunning sunset.
Lunch will be served at local restaurant.
Dinner is at local restaurant.
Overnight stay in Mandalay.
Day 3 : Mandalay - Bagan (B / L / D)
After breakfast, proceed to Bagan by car (around 4 hrs) we start your day with visits to the most significant pagodas and temples in this historical wonderland including Shwezigon Pagoda, built by King Anawrahta in the early 11th century and Ananda Temple with its four magnificent standing Buddha statues. This includes That Byinnyu pagoda built by King Alaung Si Thu in the 12th century.
Lunch is at local restaurant and dinner is at hotel.
Overnight stay in Bagan.
Day 4 : Bagan – Popa - Kalaw – Nyaung Shwe (B / L / D)
After an early breakfast, a long drive (7 hours) will take us to Nyaung Shwe. En-route we visit Mount Popa, an extinct volcano 1,518 metres above sea level which has spectacular views of the sprawling plains. This is a popular pilgrimage destination for devotees who worship various animist spirits known as nats. A total of 777 steps leads up to the shrine placed atop the steep Popa peak.
After a stop for a local lunch, our journey includes narrow, winding and bumpy roads through the splendour of the Shan hills. We reach Kalaw, a delightful hill station on the rim of the Shan Plateau. This destination is a market centre for ethnic minorities from surrounding regions and wonderful handicrafts can be purchased at the colourful markets.
Upon arrival to Nyaung Shwe and transfer for hotel check in.

Overnight stay in Inle Lake Region.
Day 5 : Inle Lake (B / L / D)
After breakfast your guide will pick you up at your hotel for our full-day exploration by boat of Inle Lake.
We will see the famous one-leg rowers, floating markets, ingenious methods of fishing, rustic, rural village life and stupendous views of the magnificent mountain scenery.
Highlights include visits to Phaungdaw Oo Pagoda, one of the most sacred shrines in Myanmar that dates back to the 18th century; NgaPhaeKyaung Monastery, which has an impressive collection of antique Buddha images and the weaving village of Inpawkhon. We then take a wooden canoe ride around nearby village before return by boat to hotel.
Lunch is at local restaurant and dinner is at hotel.
Overnight in Inle Lake region.
Day 6 : Indein (B / L / D)
After breakfast we visit a thriving local market in the Inle Lake region and then we board a boat to the western shore of Inle Lake where you will find the beginning of a stair path to the well-hidden Indein Pagoda complex.
On the way, you will visit YWAMA village. This is one of the most amazing historical sights on the shoreline and consists of hundreds of small stupas overgrown with moss and greenery.
We continue on foot to a nearby village where several farms produce crops according to traditional methods.
We enjoy a walk along one of the many creeks, passing through rice fields to the village of Sae Ma. Then we head to the weaving village of Tha Le.
In the afternoon we travel to one of the monasteries to observe monastic rituals and also interact with local people.

Overnight in Inle Lake region.
Day 7 : Inle Lake – Yangon (B / - / -)
After breakfast we fly to YANGON. Upon arrival we proceed to the magnificent reclining Buddha image at ChaukHtat Gyi. We then view Karaweik Hall, a barge on Kandawgyi (Royal) Lake.
Afterwards we transfer to Yangon Airport for your international departure.
Lunch is charged to your own account.
