The adventure continues with a flight to Mandalay, featuring visits to Amarapura’s monasteries and the iconic U Bein Bridge. You then explore Mandalay's significant pagodas and enjoy panoramic views from Mandalay Hill. Traveling overland, you reach Bagan, stopping at Mt. Popa, known for its spiritual significance and breathtaking views. In Bagan, you can opt for a hot-air balloon ride and later discover ancient temples and local markets, ending the day with a serene sunset boat ride.

You continue to Inle Lake, exploring its stilt villages, pagodas, and traditional crafts. The trip wraps up with a return to Yangon, where you visit more cultural landmarks before your departure, leaving you with lasting memories of Myanmar’s rich heritage and landscapes.
Day 1 : Yangon Arrival
Arrive at Yangon International Airport where you’ll be welcomed by your tour guide. Transfer to your hotel for some relaxation before an evening visit to Shwedagon Pagoda.
This iconic golden stupa, believed to be 2,500 years old, is the spiritual heart of Myanmar. Explore its beautifully decorated buildings and statues, and observe local worshippers making offerings.
Overnight in Yangon
Day 2 : Yangon - Mandalay - Amarapura - U Bein bridge - Mandalay (B / - / -)
Fly from Yangon to Mandalay. Upon arrival, head to Amarapura to visit Maha Gandayone Monastery and local workshops specializing in wood carving and silk longyi weaving. Continue to U Bein Bridge, the world’s longest teak bridge at 1.6 km. Enjoy lunch at a local restaurant.
In the afternoon, visit Maha Muni Pagoda, a significant Buddhist pilgrimage site. Explore Shwe Nan Daw Monastery and Kuthodaw Pagoda, renowned for its marble slabs and dubbed “the world’s largest book.” End your day with a sunset view from Mandalay Hill, offering panoramic views and several glass-adorned temples.

Overnight in Mandalay
Day 3 : Mandalay – Mt. Popa – Bagan (Overland transfer: 279km/5-6hr drive) (B / L / -)
After breakfast, transfer to Bagan with a stop at Mt. Popa (about 190 km / 3-4 hrs). Enjoy lunch at Popa Mountain Resort with stunning views of Taungkalat. Explore Mt. Popa’s shrine dedicated to Myanmar’s 37 nats (spirits) and the extinct volcano core of Taungkalat. (If time allows, visit a local roadside shop.) Continue directly to your hotel in Bagan.
Overnight in Bagan
Day 4 : Bagan – Sunset boat (B / - / -)
Optional: Experience Bagan from above with a hot-air balloon ride. Early morning pickup for a brief from professional pilots, followed by a 30-60 minute flight depending on weather. Enjoy a champagne toast, light breakfast, and a personalized certificate upon landing. (Note: Balloon rides are seasonal from mid-October to April.)
After breakfast, embark on a full-day tour of Bagan. Visit Nyaung Oo Market, Shwezigon Pagoda with its gilded stupa, and Ananda Temple with its four standing Buddhas. Stop at Thatbyinnyu Temple, known as the “temple of omniscience,” and Dhammayangyi Temple with its unique brickwork. Visit a lacquerware workshop to see local craftsmanship. In the late afternoon, enjoy a sunset boat ride on the Ayeyarwaddy River, with soft drinks or beer available onboard.
Return to your hotel after the tour.
Overnight in Bagan
Day 5 : Bagan – Heho – Kalaw Trekking (B / L / -)
Fly from Bagan to Heho, then transfer to Kalaw. Begin your trek from Myin Ka village to Pein Ne Pin, passing through fields and interacting with the Pa Laung and Danu ethnic groups. Enjoy lunch in the village, where you can dress in traditional Pa Laung costumes for photos. After lunch, trek to Yay Yar junction and transfer to your hotel in Kalaw via light truck.

Day 6 : Kalaw – Nyaung Shwe – Inle Lake (B / - / -)
Drive to Nyaung Shwe, the gateway to Inle Lake. En route, visit Shweyanpyay Monastery, noted for its teak wood carvings. Explore Inle Lake by private long-tail boat, visiting Nga Phe Kyaung Monastery with its Buddha image collection, Phaung Daw Oo Pagoda, and Mine Thauk Bridge, which connects a village on stilts to the shore. If time permits, visit a cheroot (Burmese cigar) workshop.
Please be aware that, for safety reasons, night boat transfers on the lake are not permitted according to company policy.
Overnight in Inle/Nyaung Shwe
Day 7 : Inle Lake – Heho – Yangon (B / - / -)
Fly from Heho to Yangon. Visit Chaukhtatgyi Pagoda to see one of the largest reclining Buddha images in Myanmar. Stroll around Kandawgyi Royal Lake for a peaceful retreat from the city. Tour The Secretariat building, Yangon’s former Parliament House, and explore Botahtaung Pagoda, housing a sacred Buddha relic. If time permits, walk along Yangon River to see the busy harbor area and local ferries. Enjoy dinner at a local restaurant.
