OVERVIEW
This journey begins in Yangon, where you'll explore the city's colonial quarters, iconic pagodas, and bustling markets. You'll then fly to Mandalay, the country's last royal capital, to visit its temples, monasteries, and experience the panoramic view from Mandalay Hill. The adventure continues with a boat ride on the Irrawaddy River to Mingun, followed by visits to ancient towns like Ava and Amarapura, home to the famous U Bein Bridge.
The tour proceeds to Mount Popa, a sacred pilgrimage site, before arriving in Bagan to explore its breathtaking ancient temples and lacquerware workshops. You’ll then travel through the scenic landscapes of the Shan Plateau to reach Pindaya, known for its sacred caves and traditional paper crafts. The journey continues to Inle Lake, where you’ll visit local monasteries, pagodas, and handicraft villages.
Day 1 : Yangon. Arrival (- / L / D)
On arrival at the airport, you are met by your guide and transferred to your hotel.
Visit Yangon : Walking through the old colonial quarters, visit the Sule Pagoda, the Chauk Htat Gyi Reclining Buddha and the Scott Market. Late afternoon visit the Shwedagon Pagoda. Shwedagon is the most sacred pagoda as it enshrines the relics of the three earlier buddhas and the eight hairs of Gautama Buddha, it rises 99.4 meters and glittering in gold.

Day 2 : Yangon – Mandalay (B / L / D)
After breakfast, transfer to airport for the flight Yangon-Mandalay. On arrival in Mandalay, a vehicle is waiting for you to drive you to the city. The first visit of the second-largest city and the last royal capital of Burma depend on the arrival time. Visit the Mahamuni Buddha Temple, discovery of the Gold Leaf Manufacture, Shwenandaw Monastery, it’s a monastery made entire out of teak wood with beautiful intricate carvings.
Visit the Kuthodaw Paya, Kyauktawgyi paya temple, Sandamuni paya and the Mandalay hill, it’s a 230-meters hill located near Mandalay. On the hill, you will have a panoramic view on the fortress and the whole city.

Day 3 : Mandalay – Migun – Ava – Amarapuna – Mandalay (B / L / D)
After breakfast, cruise on the Irrawaddy River until Mingun village. The Mingun temple is a monumental uncompleted, due to an astrologer who claimed that, once the temple was finished, the king would die. Then a carriage tour in the old princely town of Ava. On the way back, stop in Amarapura and crosse the U Bein Bridge. Amarapura is a township of Mandalay, bounded by the Ayeyarwady River in the west.

Day 4 : Mandalay – Mont Popa - Bagan (B / L / D)
After breakfast, drive to Bagan. Stop at Mount Popa, a sacred mountain that dominates the Myingyan from the top of its 737 meters. Mount Popa is a place for pilgrimage, it is the largest worship place of the Nats in the country. Quick Tour of Mount Popa or the Flower Mountain. Continue driving to Bagan.

Day 5 : Bagan (B / L / D)
After breakfast, visit the most beautiful sites of Bagan - an ancient city in the Mandalay Division of Burma: Sche Zi Gone pagoda, Mingalazedi Pagoda, Sulamani Temple, Ananda, Myinkaba Gu Byauk Gyi, de Thatbyinnyu, Gawtawpalin, Dhammayan Gyi….Continue to visit the Burma Lacquer factory in New-Bagan and the Archaeological Museum.Sunset over the Pha That Kyi Temple.

Day 6 : Bagan (B / - / -)
After breakfast at hotel, you have free time for visit Bagan as you wish. You can also rend a bike or carriages or make a balloon fly.

Day 7 : Bagan – Pindaya (B / L / D)
After the breakfast at hotel, road departure from Bagan to Pindaya – capital of the Danu people. The road crosses the plains of the Irrawaddy valley before climbing the foothills of the Shan plateau to reach Kalaw and Pindaya, a village which is spread around a lake with shady banks of Banias centuries. In the evening you can walk in the village of Pindaya.

Day 8 : Pindaya – Inle Lake (B / L / D)
After breakfast, discovery of the famous caves with the 8000 buddha who were placed there by pilgrims over the centuries. Then you will visit a handicraft production of Shan Paper.
After that, departure from Pinday to Nyaung Shwe. It’s a town a few kilometers north of Inle Lake in the Shan State of Myanmar. On road you will visit the Shwe Yan Pyay monastery. The red painted, teak-wood building is an interesting architectural structure on its own. Then take a motorized pirogue to visit the Inle Lake. It’s a freshwater lake.
Although not a large lake, there are a number of endemic species. Over twenty species of snails and nine species of fish are found nowhere else in the world. Visit the Phaung Daw Oo Pagoda, the Jumping Cat Monastery, the Indein Village and the the silk-weaving village In Paw Khon.

Day 9 : Inle Lake – Heho. Flight to Yangon (B / L / D)
