Piazza and St. Nicholas Church - anyone visiting Batumi will sooner or later end up at the Piazza. The square is located in the heart of Batumi. Unlike several more pleasant parks in Batumi, chaotic traffic dominates the square. While you will be able to relax here, there are some sights around the square worth visiting.

The one of the Statue "Ali and Nino" – which is located in the “Miracle Park”, invites every tourist to the show. It's a mechanical statue about love were Ali and Nino merge into each other. Symbolizing the distinctiveness of the Georgian alphabet and people, this is an interesting take on the city’s evolving architecture. Designed in the shape of a DNA, in its familiar double helix pattern, the two helix bands ascend the tower holding 33 letters of the Georgian alphabet, each being 4 meters tall. These alphabets made of aluminum are a sight in their own.

Not far from Batumi city there is a Botanical Garden: it is the largest in Georgia and has been founded more than 100 years ago. The complex has an extension of more than 113 ha and has 21 different thematic zones like: Lower and High Park, bamboo grove, Australian, Mexican, and Mediterranean plants.
