DAY 1 : ARRIVAL HAVANA (- / - / -)

Arrival. Meet & greet at the airport by your Englishspeaking guide and transfer to your casa in Havana.

Accommodation with breakfast : Casa Particular COMFORT

DAY 2 : HAVANA: SALSA & HABANA A PIE (B / - / -)

In the morning pick-up by your dancing teacher. By typical Cuban bicitaxi you will get to your dancing school. In the next couple of days you will emerge into the world of salsa.

2-hour dancing lesson (after approx. 45min short break). Dancing lessons will take place with a private teacher so that he or she may adjust to you level and goals.
In the afternoon pick-up at you casa particular by your English speaking Cuban guide. Walking tour through Old Havana and discover the most important squares and sites, e.g. the Capitol building, Calle Obispo, Palacio de los Capitanes Generales (alternatively visit of Gran Teatro Alicia Alonso).

End your day with a delicious Mojito at “Bar Maximo” (or similar).

DAY 3 : HAVANA: HAVANA QUEENS BACKSTAGE & SALSA (B / - / -)

After breakfast your English-speaking guide awaits you at your casa. Visit a training session of Havana Queens, the most popular young dancing company of the city, which already has been on tour in Europe. Chance to chat with the dancers and the Swiss manager. Afterwards visit the “Casa Compay Segundo”, the former house of the legendary Buena Vista Social Club musician who spent his last 6 years of life there.

In the afternoon salsa class like the day before (transfer to the dancing school not included).

Salsa Nightlife (incl. private dancing partner, entry fee dancing teacher, duration approx. 2.5 – 3h) / 49 USD per person.

DAY 4 : HAVANA: SALSA, PANORAMIC TOUR WITH AN AMERICAN CLASSIC CAR & SALSA NIGHTLIFE (B / - / -)

In the morning enjoy a 2-hours salsa class like the day before (transfer to the salsa school not included).

In the afternoon American 1950s classic cars are waiting for a tour. Get to know the modern parts of the city while stopping at the huge Revolution Square. Along Malecon and Avenida de los Presidentes continue to Miramar with its splendid mansions. On your way back, stop at Parque Almendares with its mystical Ceiba trees and being a scene for the Afro-Cuban Santería rituals. Before your tour comes to an end stop at the Hotel Nacional and while enjoying a cocktail in its garden with views on the sea, listen to stories of the Mafia and other celebrities in the 1950s.

21h30 visit a typical salsa nightlife spot like the “La Florida” (depending on weekday and opening hours). Tonight you will be able to show what you have learned the past days.

Morning at leisure. Time to discover the city on your own.
In the afternoon salsa class (like the day before, transfers to dancing school not included).
