An action and adrenaline packed itinerary for those looking to be more active while on holiday. The Garden Route and Cape Town have an endless choice when it comes to adventure and outdoor activity options, there is very little that you cannot do here! The ocean, mountains, forests and beautiful varied natural environments all provide the perfect settings for these activities.
This itinerary works well as a self-drive tour but can also be done on a private guided basis and also makes an awesome Small Group or Girl's Getaway tour!
Day 1 : Tsitsikamma Village Inn, Stormsriver (B / - / -)
Arrive in Port Elizabeth, self-drive to Storms River Village (170km, approx. 2 hours' drive)
On arrival in Port Elizabeth collect your rental vehicle and head off along the Garden Route to Storms River, a quaint little village set in the heart of the forests and in the foothills of the majestic Tsitsikamma mountain range.
Stormsriver :
Backed by the Tsitsikamma Mountains’ mighty Storms River Peak and surrounded by swathes of indigenous forest, Stormsriver Village, in South Africa’s Eastern Cape, is a scenic adventure sports enthusiast's paradise. At the Tsitsikamma National Park and other parks nearby - characterised by wildlife-filled jungles, rivers, and sea - adrenaline-junkies can enjoy canopying, ziplining, tubing, kayaking, snorkelling, segway riding, cycling, and hiking. An especially popular attraction nearby is the Bloukrans River Bridge, the highest in Africa, where spine-tingling bungee jumping can be enjoyed. The famous Otter Trail begins here, and the surf mecca Jeffrey’s Bay lies just 80 kilometres away. Other highlights include luxury spas; charming craft stalls and boutiques; and a collection of interesting restaurants, such as Marilyn’s 60’s Diner, a retro eatery decorated with a jukebox, 1961 Dodge Lancer, and various other vintage cars.

Untouched Adventures, located on South Africa’s enchanting Garden Route in the Eastern Cape offers the amazing opportunity to enjoy a two to three-hour kayak and lilo activity on the magnificent Storms River in Tsitsikama. During this time one will explore the deep, hidden world of the serene Storms River gorge by gently meandering along the extensive, bottomless pools, caves, ancient forests, and pass underneath the suspension bridge surrounded by the quiet sounds of nature and skyscraping rocky cliffs. The view from Africa’s highest bridge captures all the majesty and tranquility of the Bloukrans River valley. But there is nothing tranquil about throwing yourself more than 200 meters down towards the river below. Recognized as the ‘highest bungee from a bridge’ in the world, Bloukrans Bungy uses pendulum bungee technology to ensure the smoothest, most comfortable bungee jump possible. Jumpers are secured in a full-body harness combined with an ankle connection.
Bloukrans Bungee Jump :
If it’s adrenalin you’re after, look no further than the Bloukrans Bridge. At 216 metres high and with a 7 second free fall, Bloukrans is the world’s highest bungy jump. Your experience of the highest bridge in Africa doesn’t have to include a bungy jump, however, as you can also participate in a walking tour of the structure.

Tsitsikamma to Knysna via Plettenberg Bay (95km) - Marine Eco Boat Excursion & Robberg Nature Reserve Hike
Continue along the Garden Route with a stop in Plettenberg Bay to enjoy a Marine Encounter boat trip to see Cape Fur Seals, Dolphins and Whales (May to November). Enjoy a walk/hike on the beautiful Robberg Peninsula. Continue to Knysna where you will check in at your accommodation tucked away in a beautiful valley on the banks of the Goukamma River.
Knysna :
Sandwiched between the towering Outeniqua Mountains and the Indian Ocean, Knysna is a large town often referred to as the ‘Garden of Eden’, surrounded by stunning bays perfect for sailing, boating, and swimming; picturesque beaches and lagoons; and world-renowned forests. This well-catered town is also a perfect base for safari expeditions at nearby parks such as Knysna Elephant Park, and close-up animal experiences at centres such as Jukani Wildlife Sanctuary, Tenikwa Wildlife Awareness Centre, Birds of Eden, and Monkeyland Primate Sanctuary. From here, enjoy ample opportunities for surfing, swimming, yachting, jet-skiing, boating, fishing, and golfing. Visitors can also look forward to an array of wonderful markets, a picturesque waterfront filled with superb restaurants and shops, and several fantastic art galleries. Make sure to take a ferry trip to the famed Knysna Heads and sample the local oysters.
Plettenberg Bay :
The seaside town of Plettenberg Bay is a popular holiday destination situated just 2.5 hours’ drive west of Gqebertha, on the spectacular coastal Garden Route, The Portuguese explorers called it the 'Beautiful Bay', and it’s easy to see why – Plettenberg Bay is a picturesque, charming town with endless pristine beaches, tranquil lagoons, clean rivers, indigenous forests, and a dramatic rocky peninsula. Playground to the wealthy, beach mansions overlook the Indian Ocean, often dotted with luxury yachts, while leisure time is given over to polo and golf, among other things. However, all kinds of visitors will feel at peace here as simply swimming in the warm water on a safe beach is a great way to experience the beauty of Plettenberg Bay. Adrenaline seekers can visit Bloukrans Bridge, a 30-minute drive away, to do the highest bungee jump on earth.
Ocean Blue Adventures, Marine Encounter Tours :
Our ECOLOGICAL ADVENTURE leaves from Central Beach with an exciting beach launch and heads east past the bird sanctuary and Keurbooms beach to Arch Rock. Here we usually encounter Bottlenose and the rare Indo-Pacific Humpback Dolphins as well as some shark species. From Arch Rock we head out into the middle of the Bay where pelagic seabirds are normally to be found some 7km from the shore. Out there our resident Bryde’s whales may be seen, as well as
Common Dolphins or Southern Right and Humpback whales during their season. We then traverse the Bay to the point of Robberg Peninsula and out to the WILD side, often seeing groups of Whales and pods of Dolphins. Cruising back along the inside of Robberg, we see the unique geology from this unusual viewpoint and can observe our growing Cape Fur Seal Colony. Finally we head back along the Robberg beach, while a brief rundown on the history of the area is given. After passing the Beacon Island Hotel, built on the site of an original Whaling Station, we end the experience with an exhilarating landing, again on Central Beach.
Close Encounter
Ocean Blue is a licenced SABBWWA permit holder, which enables us to approach whales from 50 metres instead of 300 metres. Should the whales approach our vessel we do not have to move away! The guests therefore get an up close experience with these majestic mammals in the bay.

Robberg Peninsula :
The sheltered waters that make Plettenberg Bay such an ecologically rich coastal area and a prime water sports destination owe much to the landmark rocky headland of the Robberg Peninsula. The peninsula is a beautiful wilderness area famed for its coastal walks, abundant marine and bird life, and amazing sea views.

Knysna: Featherbed Eco Experience, Stand-Up Paddling on the Knysna Estuary and Champagne Sunset Sail
The day starts with a Featherbed Nature Reserve Eco Experience and lunch.
In the afternoon a unique opportunity to try some stand-up paddling and explore the waterways of Thesen Island and the Knysna Estuary. In the evening enjoy a relaxing 2 ½ hour cruise on the Knysna Lagoon and out into the Indian ocean with catering and a complimentary glass of South African bubbly.
Featherbed Nature Reserve Eco Experience :
The Featherbed Nature Reserve, situated on the Western Head in Knysna, is the premier eco-experience on the Garden Route and is accessible by ferry only.
The services featured are a 4x4 vehicle and trailer drive up the headland onto the reserve, a specialist guide giving information on fauna and flora, optional guided 2.2km walk through coastal forest and fynbos into ancient sea caves as well as buffet lunch at an outdoor restaurant setting under a canopy of Milkwood trees.
In order to protect the splendour of the natural beauty, access to the reserve is controlled. Numbers are limited and visits are only permitted in the company of the reserve's specialist guides.
Ocean Odyssey SUP :
Explore the waterways of Thesen Island with the world’s fastest growing water sport, Stand-Up Paddling. Knysna Springtide Charters Sunset Cruise :
Join us for the ultimate sailing experience whilst soaking up the golden hues of the Knysna sunset. This 2.5 hour experience departs from the Knysna waterfront and cruises through the Knysna estuary and through the rugged headlands, our beautiful passage to the extensive Indian Ocean. Let the natural beauty of Knysna entertain you, from the breath-taking coastline to the diverse marine life, as we allow our sails to steer us. Our guests are treated to an appetizing Mediterranean platter and complimentary glass of chilled South African Cap Classique MCC, while you watch the sun sink into the horizon.

Knysna to Oudtshoorn (120km, approximately 2 hours drive) Cango Caves tour and Ostrich Farm visit
Today travel over the spectacular Outeniqua Pass to Oudtshoorn. Enjoy either a standard or an adventure tour in the Cango Caves. Visit an ostrich farm for a tour to learn more about these birds and their farming in the area.
Enjoy the afternoon at leisure at your accommodation, situated on a working ostrich farm. Enjoy a leisurely scenic walk through the property and in the evening you can enjoy some of the best star gazing.
Oudtshoorn :
Located along the well-known Route 62 in South Africa’s beautiful Klein Karoo, the charming town of Oudtshoorn is known as the ostrich capital of the world. It is surrounded by numerous ostrich farms and the golden arid landscape of the Karoo. Visitors can enjoy the locally produced wine and port; sample ostrich meat and biltong; learn about the ostrich feather boom at the C.P. Nel Museum; and visit the world-renowned Cango Caves, the largest cave system in Africa featuring ancient rock formations and sparkling stalactites and stalagmites. Other popular activities include: mountain biking, paragliding, horse riding, and taking a day trip to the quaint town of Prince Albert over the scenic Swartberg Pass.
Outeniqua Pass :
Outeniqua Pass is a spectacular mountain pass in the heart of the Garden Route. As you ascend the pass, you'll be treated to panoramic vistas of lush valleys, towering peaks, and expansive forests. The road winds through hairpin bends and curves, providing an exhilarating driving experience. The Outeniqua Pass is not only a gateway to the scenic wonders of the region but also a testament to engineering prowess, as it was constructed in the mid-20th century.
Cango Caves
Set on the foothills of the Swartberg Mountains near Oudtshoorn, South Africa, the Cango Caves are a mesmerizing natural wonder. These limestone caverns, formed over millions of years, boast a labyrinth of awe-inspiring chambers and breathtaking formations where visitors can embark on guided tours that take them through a series of magnificent chambers, such as the Great Hall and Cleopatra's Needle. Marvel at the stalactites, stalagmites, and stunning dripstone formations that adorn the cave walls. The Cango Caves offer different tour options, catering to varying levels of difficulty and adventure. Cango Caves Heritage Tour is a 60 minute tour, lead by experienced, knowledgeable and accredited cave guides. All tours are offered in English, but provision can be made for Afrikaans, German and French speakers when booking. The heritage tour gives visitors insight into the six halls, chambers and rooms within the caves, as well as a close up view of stalactites, stalagmites, and a colony of bats that have made the cave their home.

The Ostrich Farm Tour is an unforgettable experience on Safari Ostrich Farm.During the tour you will learn more about these remarkable birds and their fascinating nature. Your guide will explain every aspect of ostrich farming, from breeding to rearing.
Safari Ostrich Showfarm :
The Safari Ostrich Showfarm is an ostrich farm located in Oudtshoorn, Garden Route, South Africa. The farm is approximately 1800 hectares in size and boasts a beautiful old homestead build with sandstone called a “Feather Palace”.
This is the first ostrich farm in Oudtshoorn and South Africa where the Kenyan Red and Zimbabwe Blue Ostriches can be seen. Visitors will also get to see White Ostriches and the second biggest bird in the world, namely the Emu from Australia.
The tour also consists of a visit to the Incubator Room where chicks are hatched inside incubators. The room is fitted with a “Spy-Camera” which allows for a real close and personal perspective of the hatching process.
Cango Caves Adventure Tour :
The Cango Caves is a cultural and natural landmark located at the foothills of the Swartberg range near Oudtshoorn. These intricate tunnels of limestone are one of the most popular tourist attractions in South Africa. The Cango Caves offers an Adventure Tour lead by experienced and accredited cave guides. This tour is not recommended for claustrophobic or unfit guests.
The Adventure Tour includes the basic heritage tour which explores the great halls of the caves, then Adventure guests set off with a separate guide deeper into the caves. The Adventure Tour includes the 200 steps of Jacobs Ladder, the 85-metre long Lumbago Alley, whose roof seldom rises above 1.2 metres and the Crystal Palace which features a translucent crystal wall. The Tunnel of Love invites guests to crawl through a low passageway some 74 centimetres high, narrowing at one point to about 30 centimetres before reaching the Devils Post Box which is 27 centimetres high and involves some shimmying and sliding to get through. This is the furthest part of the route and guests return to the main caves via King Solomons Mines.

Swartberg Mountains & Prince Albert Full-Day Eco and Khoi Cultural Tour
This tour will take you on a trip to the top of the Swartberg Pass, where you can enjoy a short hike in the reserve, and then descend the pass into the pretty little town of Prince Albert for lunch. The tour continues to a waterfall on the Meiringspoort Pass and then back to Oudtshoorn via the Little Karoo village of De Rust.
Swartberg Pass Eco & Khoi Heritage Experience – Full Day
From the southern foothills we start our ascent of nearly 950 metres up the Swartberg via the world-renowned Swartberg Pass. This gravel pass, a national monument, was constructed by renowned road engineer Thomas Bain over four years and opened in January 1888.
At the summit (“Die Top”) of the Swartberg Pass, we enjoy a panoramic views over the Great and Little Karoo. Your guide will also inform you of the social and conservation initiatives pioneered by the members of the H.O.P.E. Foundation.
You can also enjoy an optional leisure walk on the Pass. From the "Top" we descend the Swartberg Pass to Prince Albert, where we are treated to a light lunch.
Departing from Prince Albert, you will be introduced to the arid Great Karoo landscape and its diverse succulents and karroid bush as you skirt the northern slopes of the Swartberg Mountains on the path to Meiringspoort. You will spend some time at the 60-metre-high waterfall in Meiringspoort, before winding your way through the rest of the “poort” (narrow mountain pass) to the peaceful Little Karoo village of De Rust.
Swartberg Nature Reserve :
Three historic routes connecting the Great and Little Karoo lead through the reserve. Toorwaterpoort is a train route, Meiringspoort is used by motorists and the untarred Swartberg Pass takes one over the Swartberg. Gamkaskloof was first inhabited by farmers in 1830 and was accessible only on foot until 1963 when a road was finally built into the valley. The reserve’s vegetation is diverse featuring renosterveld, mountain fynbos, Karoo-veld, spekboom veld, and many geophyte species. Most plants flower in spring, but early autumn is the time that many protea species flower, attracting large numbers of sugarbirds and sunbirds. During mid-summer (December - February) many of the interesting plants on the higher Swartberg peaks are in flower, including the very rare Protea venusta.
Prince Albert :
Serving as the gateway to the arid wilderness of the Great Karoo, the little South African heritage town of Prince Albert is surrounded by an oasis of magnificent mountains, fresh sparkling water, lush gardens, vineyards, and fruit orchards. This Karoo gem is home to beautifully preserved Cape Dutch and Victorian buildings. It is a popular place in which to relax in the sun and enjoy the peaceful serenity of the town or appreciate the spectacularly clear and star-filled night sky to the rare sound of silence. Visitors can discover ancient fossils, visit a working moonshine distillery at the Fransie Pienaar Museum, enjoy a historical walking tour through the town, and drive along the edge of the harrowing 19th-century Swartberg Pass for dramatic mountain views. Other popular activities include hiking, mountain biking, bird watching, and botanical excursions.
Meiringspoort :
The breathtaking Meiringspoort is surrounded by mountains that have created a fascinating micro-climate in which indigenous fynbos plant species thrive. Adding to this beautiful natural scene are numerous brilliant blue malachite kingfishers and black eagles that have made the skies above the gorge their home. The road that meanders through Meiringspoort crosses the Groot River 25 times in 25 kilometres, and each of these crossings is marked by a colourful history. Visitors can learn more at the information site near a spectacular 60-metre-high waterfall.
De Rust :
De Rust is a charming, sleepy Victorian village set along South Africa’s famously beautiful Route 62 in the Western Cape. The town is a favourite among nature lovers, providing one of the best bases to explore the phenomenal biodiversity of Meiringspoort, a magnificent mountain pass that carves through the Swartberg Mountain Range. Meiringspoort is also home to rare pelargonium, a glorious waterfall, and an array of animals, such as the Cape Mountain Leopard. An excellent network of hiking trails, cycling routes, and the stunning Stompdrift Dam mean there is plenty on offer for active travellers. History enthusiasts will delight in the picturesque 19th-century architecture displayed all over town, while gourmands flock here for the legendary cheese and dessert wine.

Day 7 : Whale Coast Ocean Villa, Hermanus (B / - / -)
Oudtshoorn to Hermanus (365km, 5 hours drive)
Those who are prepared to wake up early this morning can join an optional Meerkat Safari, which takes place at sunrise. After a leisurely morning and breakfast take a slow drive fralong Route 62 to Hermanus, stopping along the way to see and explore. On arrival in Hermanus enjoy a cliff top walk looking out for whales (May-November).
Your guesthouse is only 2 minutes away from the Blue Flag Grotto Beach, and offers beautiful ocean and mountain views.
Hermanus :
Situated just 140 kilometres from Cape Town and built between the beautiful shores of Walker Bay, Hermanus has grown from a small seaside resort town to become arguably the best-known place for whale watching in the world. This town is also famed for its natural scenic beauty, featuring long stretches of pristine beaches. An excellent variety of restaurants, cafes and bars are also on offer. Today, Hermanus is more than just a popular holiday destination and offers visitors all kinds of activities, both energetic and relaxing. Visitors can explore the Old Harbour Museum, which is comprised of the charming fisherman’s village, the old harbour, and the Whale House Museum; hike through the nearby Fernkloof Nature Reserve, and sample an array of top-quality wine along the famous Hermanus Wine Route.
Route 62 :
Meandering from the cosmopolitan city of Cape Town to the Karoo town of Oudtshoorn, through a series of fascinating small towns and breathtaking scenery, Route 62 is the longest Wine Route in the world. Lush greenery and fertile valleys form a stark contrast against the semi-desert of the Klein Karoo, while towering mountains and their rivers and streams provide an awe-inspiring backdrop throughout. Some of the renowned attractions visitors will spot as they follow the route are the Winelands of the Breede River Valley, the majestic Swartberg Mountains, the Cango Caves and ostrich farms of Oudtshoorn, and the fruit orchards of the Langkloof Valley.
Hermanus Whale Walk :
Hermanus offers some of the best shore-based whale watching in the world, with a seaside trail that runs for miles along the coastal cliffs. The land drops off sharply into a deep bay below where whales come to cruise of play, sometimes as little as 20 metres away from the shore. To ensure that visitors are kept in the know, a designated ‘whale crier’ patrols the trail, sounding his kelp horn when he spots these majestic ocean mammals.
Five Shy Meerkats Wild Meerkat Adventure Tour :
Five Shy Meerkats Wild Meerkat Adventure Tour is about a 2-3 hour adventure. The tour starts at sunrise and includes visiting their burrows and observing the meerkats. Guests may enjoy sitting and sipping a hot cup of coffee while watching the meerkats as they enjoy the sunshine and go about their daily routine of foraging and frolicking. An experienced tour guide offers insight into the meerkat, part of the so-called Shy 5, which includes the bat-eared fox, the aardvark, the aardwolf and the porcupine.

Shark Cage Diving and Dune Fat Bike Tour, Gansbaai to Cape Town (170km, approximately 2.5 hours drive).
An early start to the day for your shark cage diving experience. This will be followed by an awesome fat bike excursion - a 6km mostly downhill tour on pristine and secluded sand dunes with the most amazing ocean views to be seen in the Cape.
After this exciting and fun filled day you will travel to Cape Town in the afternoon. Check-in at your hotel and if there's time take a leisurely sunset stroll with the locals on the Sea Point Promenade.
Cape Town :
Set at the confluence of the Indian and Atlantic oceans and backed by the iconic Table Mountain, the bustling city of Cape Town presents an alluring combination of drawcards. Highlights include the Zeitz Museum of Contemporary African Art; Table Mountain's jaw-dropping views; Boulders Beach, where penguins might swim right up to you in the warm Indian ocean waters; the Kirstenbosch Botanical Gardens, where you can walk along a treetop canopy among incredible native flora or watch an open-air concert at the base of the mountain; Robben Island, where visitors can see the cell where Nelson Mandela was imprisoned for 18 years; and many more.

White Shark Projects co-ordinates service delivery, conservation, education and research around one of the ocean's greatest predatory forces. A day with them includes breakfast/lunch, snacks on board, tea & scones, all diving equipment as well as educational information and material on the Great White Shark.
Fatbike Tours Gansbaai SAND DUNES TRAIL (2 Hours) :
This is the ultimate ride from near Grootbos nature reserve down the mountain to the top of the Sand Dunes. The trail to the dunes is special, running on a narrow sandy horse trail through the Fynbos. When reaching the dunes we will make our way up and across to reach a fantastic downhill section where we will pick up speed before reaching the top of our first vertical dune face. After a briefing on how to ride down the dune we down the face but for those just wanting an easy ride you can go around the side where it is an easy slope. The dune face may feel impossible and dangerous to do but the ride is in fact very controlled and the sand will slow the bike down. What your mind tells you is impossible will in fact be very enjoyable and easy. I will be at the bottom of the dunes videoing your challenges so remember to smile. I will also teach you how to do slalom like a skier on a snow ski slope. This is excellent fun on a bike and not too difficult to achieve. After the dunes we will pick up a 4x4 trail down to the beach. From there we will head back up to the car park but for those who are already tired I can bring the 4x4 down to the rocks so you do not have to ride up.
Sea Point Promenade :

Lion's Head Hike, Table Mountain via cableway and City Cycle Tour
Experience 2 of Cape Town's peaks - challenge yourself to a guided hike up Lion's Head (either early in the morning or at sunset) and a cableway ride to the top of Table Mountain. In the afternoon get to know a bit more about Cape Town's rich history and heritage on a cycling tour through the city.
In the evening explore the V&A Waterfront, which offers an abundance of restaurants, bars, entertainment, shops, markets, attractions and activities.

Table Mountain :
Table Mountain is the most iconic landmark of South Africa. Aside from being the country’s most photographed attraction and the perfect place to take photos of the landscape of Cape Town, it is also home to about 2,200 species of plants and 1,470 floral species, many of which are endemic to the mountain. Animal species that can be spotted on the mountain include caracals, rock hyraxes and chacma baboons. The flat top peak of the mountain reaches 1,086 metres above sea level, but being so close to the sea and to the city, its features look more imposing.
Awol Cape Town City Cycle Tour :
Leaving daily at 10am from the V&A Waterfront Information Centre, the city cycle tours, led by experienced local guides, make cycling the best way to experience the incredible city. Cyclists will learn about Cape Town’s rich heritage while riding from the vibrant Waterfront to the bustling inner city, getting up close and personal with the city and its inhabitants. From the historic city centre, the group cycles into colourful Bo-Kaap and then towards Green Point, before heading back to the Waterfront along the Atlantic Seaboard. Historic and modern landmarks seen on the tour include Adderley Street, Bo-Kaap, The Company Gardens, St. George’s Mall, Green Point Stadium and Eco-Park, and The Castle of Good Hope.

Snorkel with Seals and Explore the Cape Peninsula
This morning you will get to meet Cape Fur Seals... nose to nose! Plunge into the kelp forest and snorkel with hundreds of curious Cape Fur seals, in the wild! On return to the dive centre you can have a hot shower before heading off on your self-drive exploration of the scenic Cape Peninsula.
Drive over Chapman's Peak, one of the world most beautiful roads, and around the peninsula to Cape Point and the Cape of Good Hope (most south western point of Africa). Walk up to the top lighthouse and down to the lower lighthouse and take a classic photo at the Cape of Good Hope sign board. Exit the reserve and your next stop will be Boulders Beach where you will meet the comical African Penguins. Drive back along the False Bay coast passing through Kalk Bay, St James and Muizenberg - known for its colourful beach huts. In the hotter summer months we can highly recommend a dip in one of the many popular tidal pools along the coast.
Animal Ocean Seal Snorkeling :
One can enjoy a unique snorkeling experience with playful and inquisitive beautiful Cape Fur seals via Animal Ocean in Cape Town, South Africa. Duiker Island in Hout Bay is home to 5000-10000 seals, which is where the activity takes place after an 8-meter inflatable boat transports up to 10 visitors to the island quickly and safely. The seals are not fed or trained and behave naturally and interact with visitors on their own terms in their natural habitat making this is a wildlife ocean adventure not to be missed.
Chapman's Peak :
Chapman’s Peak Drive winds its way between Noordhoek and Hout Bay. Situated on the Atlantic Coast, at the southwestern tip of South Africa, it is one of the most spectacular scenic drives in the world. The 9km route, with its 114 curves, skirts the rocky coastline of Chapman's Peak. The drive offers stunning 180-degree views with many areas along the route where visitors can stop and take in the scenery or sit down for a relaxing picnic.
Cape Point :
Cape Point is a spectacular sight, covered in endemic fynbos and home to breathtaking bays, beaches and rolling green hills and valleys, just 60km outside of Cape Town. Cape Point falls within the Cape Floral Region, a World Heritage Site. The Cape Floral Region is one of the richest areas for plants in the world – it is home to nearly 20% of Africa’s flora. Cape Point is open daily and is a must-see.

Cape of Good Hope is located near the southernmost tip of the African continent in South Africa. The cape is surrounded by beaches, coves, and cliffs, making it a popular location for sightseeing. The Cape of Good Hope is well known for its rich history. It was an important stop on the early trade routes between Europe and Asia. Today, the location is a popular tourist attraction. It provides visitors with stunning views and is also home to a variety of wildlife.
Boulders Beach :
Boulders Beach is located in Cape Town, South Africa. It is a sheltered beach made up of inlets between granite boulders and crystal clear waters. The area is home to one of the largest breeding colonies of African penguins. Visitors can observe the penguins close up from elevated boardwalks while enjoying beautiful views. It is a popular location for swimming, snorkelling, and birdwatching.
